Another rave of the day is that I bought another e-juice: Psycho Tunes Secret Stuff. It's really nice. It's a creamy melon that sort of tastes like watermelon bubblegum.

It was my own fault. I waited about a year to get the dye, which is supposed to be a strong purple color, and supposed to be the best. I did a lot of resets into it, but the material was old, so the dye came out gooey and barely turned purple. It sucks because I did it all right, but it wasn't a lot, due to my waiting. I may try to make more dye later, but it will be a while.

Thanks for the offer, EbbTide but my family isn't into this sort of thing. My mom swears she doesn't even dream. At all. Ever.

Rant: 8 hours of sleep 4 hours worth of sleep
I guess half is my norm. No wonder I feel I need 14 hours of sleep most days.
Time to take my findings to a doctor and have another sleep study done. Guess I'll get right on that after my trip at the end of this month. I need another blood panel drawn and a pap anyhow.

Other than that, I'm bored "Only boring people get bored" That's what I tell the kids anyhow... now I have to tell myself. There's plenty to do, so get it done and you wont be bored anymore.

I think I'll go back to bed instead

Major RAVE: A vape shop opened here in my tiny town. The store is about a 7 minute drive away I'll never have spending money again lol. A bought a $16. 15 ml bottle of juice called Uncle Junk which is a weird vanilla/tobacco blend. They only had 18mg, so they threw in a 5 ml bottle of 0mg tastless vg so I could cut it myself.
I hope they have a long and prosperous business here.

So I believe I mentioned a few months back that I was considering biding on a second shift job. And I believe I decided not to because although the hours were nice, I preferred doing what I do on 3rd shift. Well, that exact same job is up again, and I bid on it this time. There's probably a 90% chance that I'll get it, but I'm not 100% yet if I want it. But this time, I don't care if I hate the job; I'll only be there maybe 6-12 months tops.


3rd shift:
Wake up 8:45pm, leave 9:30pm, get home 2:15pm, go to sleep 2:45pm

2nd shift:
Wake up 5:45am, leave 6:15am, get home 11:15pm, go to sleep 11:45pm


Hmm, they actually seem pretty identical when I write them up like that, but 2nd shift would be a pinch tighter in terms of how much free time / sleep time I have. But it also would be sleeping at night again, so there's that. I'm still undecided.


As for a rave: No roof construction today.
But I have a rant too... I just drank my last beer. Fudge.

Of course it is. It's a very, very, very strong purple dye. It's a few plants, arguably all plants, but it is one of the most unique colors you'll see. Is that a little clearer?

I never got that concept. Pragmatically the least you can do is reciprocate. Personally, I enjoy both equally, and I feel like more are like that in my experience.

Girls giving is more common in random hookups I think, but in relationships it's mostly equal.

Regarding the other topic, there is a weird approach towards oral sex and women. It is very common to hear friends talk about never doing it, or girls being happy anyone does. That approach isn't my thing at all, but I am all about making sure equal fun is had by all.

Rant: severe lower back pain. It feels like it did back in 2000 when hubby had me have an MRI. It hurts so much I can hardly move. If it is now as it was then, I should get my period within a couple of days. Celexa eliminated this pain. Why has it returned

My weird rant is that I cannot eat enough potatoes. It's my newest addiction: Wendy's baked potato with one dollop of butter and 1/2 a tube of sour cream. It's about the only thing I want to eat now-a-days.
My back's not hurting as much today. But my chest, lungs and throat are rough. There's one confirmed case of bronchitis in the house. I'm certain my eldest also has it but he wont see a doctor. I REALLY hope I'm not coming down with it!!!!

It's official... I am sick. Low grade fever, cough, sore throat.
I managed to clean my room and scrub my floors though I figured, the fewer allergens the better.
My room reeks of rubbing alcohol, but that just means fewer animals to pester me for a while

I don't know if I've raved about this yet, but my son bought me Runescape time. I'm at almost 88 thieving. It's about all I do in game: thieving, fishing, cooking, farming/herblore. Forget fighting
It's been a long time since I've played. My clan was still around but inactive and then the old clan leader logged in! hehee, so I got invited to the new one. There's a cool down period of a week though.

I dreamed of coloring, minecraft and swimming last night. All comfort dreams. I even slept fairly well for a change. I think the secret is to take 2 tyleno, 2 ibprofen and a Ranitadine along with my gabapentin and cyproheptadine before laying down. Hmmm... that's 2 "dine's... I better make sure I can take them together. But one's an antihistamine, the other's for acid reflux.

I wrote in my DJ before coming here and Anju's post reminded me.

My rave is that I had an awesome dream (not the lesbian one ). I DC hopped so much, though, it was very difficult to keep the story straight. It was also so emotionally taxing that I don't feel very well rested But still, it WAS an awesome dream

My rant is that I'm even more sick today. BUT I'm still not coughing unless I want to (chest and throat tightness and the "urge" to cough). Post nasal drip is killing me, though.
Oh, another rant is that 2 light bulbs died.

Double rave: we found a home for one of the new black puppies (for free though but hey). On the way home from dropping him off with his new owner, I nearly gave my daughter a heart attack.
We were going up the driveway when I saw something and swirved/jerked the car. She thought I was going to run into hubby's rock half-wall. I whined: "uhhh, I think I nailed him!" I parked then jumped out of the car. "Killed what?" I made her get out to see.
It was a snake about as long as my arm. And he was fined. I thought, for sure, I smushed his head. I poked it with a stick and he twirled in on himself, then slithered off in the opposite direction.

My daughter thinks it might have been a copperhead. I think it was just a rat snake though. What ever he was, he was pretty, and alive.

I am sicker still today I also found the most likely reason for my back pain: Gabapentin It's great for restless legs but it may cause your other joints to swell and ache and can trigger arthritis. So, I finally found great relief for my legs but the pain it causes elsewhere is too great to continue.

Another rant is that Paula was pulled over last night for driving without headlights at night (I've done that before). He let her off with a warning but also advised her about tags on the car and insurance. It's best not to push ones luck, so I'll be driving them again until she gets those taken care of. Thankfully, he didn't look closely at her license or he would have seen she wasn't wearing the glasses she's required to (or perhaps he assumed contacts).
Driving them wouldn't be so bad if I actually managed to get any sleep last night. Nope. Not a wink.

They're both still sick as well. Maybe they'll call in sick.

Well.... the ophthalmologist I was asking about the treatment said he doesn't think it will be the best treatment for me.
Waited months for nothing.
I think tomorrow I'm gonna just get drunk and work on my float tank.

There's still hope with this vision training I'm doing, but it's gonna take way longer. Just wanted this over with.

My rant is that I'm still sick. Laying down to sleep is darn near impossible. Sleeping at an incline doesn't help much and is most uncomfortable anyhow seeing how I must sleep on my sides. My Cypro. finally knocked me out enough to get some zzz's, then the dogs woke me, Probation woke me, the kids woke me to drive them to work. Now I'm up. Getting rid of another puppy in 30 minutes. Going to the store some time this evening. Picking the crew back up from work at 10. Gah. I just want this illness over with already. My ears are starting to hurt on top of everything else.

My period is now 15 days late. I am NEVER late. But being sick as I currently am, I'm grateful Mr.Monthly failed to drop by

Rave: Fallout 4 I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to getting it.
I'm also raving about a new show I discovered called "the Strain". It's a bit campy at times and the main monster is ridiculously cheesy, but it's a great all around show. I've been binge-watching it for a couple of days. I've almost finished the season

My wife has been sick for about a week. It was more of a minor nuisance, but she woke me up with her coughing. Doctor said it's a viral thing, and either I have sympathy pains, or I caught it from her because I feel atrocious.

Wow Zhaylin I just saw your pic at the top of this page. You look WAY different to how I thought you did based on your profile pic! lol

Rant: I SUCK at building stuff. Spent the last three days basically accomplishing nothing. I'm trying to build the top part of my tank properly. I had a basically temporary top on it and I used the pieces from the first time I tried to build it. But it didn't block out light, so I could only use it at night, and it also let out evaporation, so had to fill it back up all the time.

So I've been trying to fix it up, but decided to try and use the old pieces again, due to my conservationist personality and because it's really good quality Tasmanian wood. All I ended up doing was probably ruining a new piece of wood. I realise today it's just not going to work. I would have been better off starting over and leaving the Tasmanian wood for something else.

So I'll try and salvage that new wood but I'm going to have to cut my losses and disassemble the Tasmanian wood and maybe use it for something else later on.

I also just sat down and figured out an easy way to build the top. I literally need to cut one more piece of wood, assuming I can salvage the other two pieces.

I need to plan more instead of just going ahead and doing stuff. That works for social things, but I started doing it for other stuff and it barely ever works.

OH! Man.... rave/extra rant: This girl came around while I was working on my tank, trying to get donations for some thing. HOLY CRAP she was cute. She had that slightly (is that spelled right? looks strange) evil look to her, which I love. Just that ever-so-slightly evil smile. *dies*. I can't handle it. I had to try and avoid the topic of what I was building coz no one knows wtf an isolation tank is haha Gave her $5 to her charity to get her to leave but she wanted to keep talking but I'm an awkward idiot so I kinda just went back inside to end the conversation. Hope she comes round again....

My rant is that I'm still sick. I actually managed to sleep night before last. Couldn't sleep last night though- combination of restlessness and sore throat.
Something's wrong with my momma dog. I don't know if she's caught a cold too or what. She keep breathing weird, keeps having nightmares, then sneezes here and there. She's been taking food and water, and goes outside as needed. She's just acting oddly.
We still have 3 puppies. 2 people changed their minds. The brindle ones are the last to go which is different than we figured. The lab looking ones went right away.

Going to try to go to sleep again.
