Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

Last day of second year at uni. Depressing. ;_;

Okay, now i'm mad and happy, but more mad, so here it comes:

The thing is that one of our cats, Buci, was gone since 5 days now... she never disappeared for that long before. She disappeared for 3 days a week ago, but that was the first time like that ever. She never missed a single day before that, she was always here at breakfast time.
Right now like 10 minutes ago she showed up in the window, meowing wildly as she was really hungry. I'm happy that she is fine, but i suspect that one of our neighbours trapped her in their outbuilding or something, to make her catch the mice for them... They probably put some food in there to make her stay in there then locked it and didn't let her out for days. I guess they think that we won't notice if she doesn't show up for some days...

I suspect one of our neighbours the most, the one who poisoned some of our cats and dogs years ago... i've seen that old retard put out some food the other day, even while they have no animals... so it couldn't have been a coincidence...

I'm not sure what to do, but if she disappears another time, i'll climb into their garden and tear their outbuilding's door open...

@Zoe, I wanted to say to tell them to get their own cats. But I was thinking the cats would suffer under their treatment too. So just go tear down their bloody door. They deserve it.

Sorry to hear that. It's always difficult when cats are gone for a while, but I'm glad she did show up.
Did she ever get into this house (since your post was a few hours ago)? If not, why don't you go out looking for her, just around the nearby houses, or call to her if she's the type of cat that responds to that. Or put out a dish of food for her on your doorstep... although other animals might try to eat it.
If she disappears again, why not ask the neighbor if they've seen your cat? Don't act as though you suspect the neighbor, just ask casually and act worried, and maybe they'll release her because they realize you do notice she's gone.

Days are too F'n short... seriously blugh.

My rant is that there is no zhaylin rants to read. That's pretty much all I do on DV and she has taken that from me.

In regards to what dream guides are, and the conflict between subjectivity vs logical reasoning, some people are really idiots. I swear, some human beings are just...sacks of shits honestly. I wonder if people really pay attention to how they define a person sometimes when their belief doesn't match theirs.

I guess that's the the most logical way to live, to follow the herd...to be another number conforming only to this life.

And how when I think that a person was so important in my life, either there to mock me or ridicule me, or to actually support me and push me up, it's REALLY hard trying to moderate the negative energy people can give. People find the most pettiest of things, and get a magnifying glass to augment its existence and make a big deal out of it.

Like seriously, something SO small to be SO important in seeing if a person is just a shithead, these little tests humans give to others, it's starting to piss me off. Sometimes I think people believe they're gods. You're a human being, you're going to rot, you're going to die, so stop feeling so high and mighty when you're bored of not understanding yourself and transferring your jealous/insecurities/etc. to another person you can pick on.

These people can just go burn in hell. Yes, life can suck sometimes, but this isn't about that, it's about how people think....it really pisses me off, but whatever. Everyone has their own views, and should stick with it if it makes them feel comfortable, but just seeing the contradictions in how they treat others differently seeking the same goal....I wonder people have brains sometimes...not just brains for memorizing things....brains for actually using that as a basis to add on to new perspectives.

Whatever, who cares, people will think this is bullshit anyway. But that's what happens when you live with people not interested in dreaming in the first place. I just.....fuck it.

Then some people are like what are you complaining about the government gives you land and money, uh... why should we be secluded to a set land, and a set tribe? it wasn't that way till we were invaded. We had all the land we wanted and never stayed it one spot, plus we didn't need money we traded, and have you seen the land we got? It is unfarmable for the most part, and people are like well you never needed to farm before, no duh we were able to move and live off the land and let it replenish. and the only reason they watch our blood level is there waiting for our bloodlines to die off. do you know why natives get so rowdy on alcohol? because we never had it before other people landed here and bought it to us, so damn right it gets us messed up.

and being part white and seeing all this thats why race doesn't, really matter to me I could care less were all humans, but it pisses me off that I'm still judged for being part native by white people, then growing up, all the native kids were racist because of my white complexion. Why fight each other and not work together for the good of all humans and most importantly the mother of all life that we know EARTH.

We are not friends with that neighbour... exactly for the reason that they poisoned our animals before... So we don't even talk with them...

I tried calling her while she was gone and i went around the garden and check every neighbour, but she didn't respond... that outbuilding is not that close, so she might've not heard it if she was in there... I'm almost sure they did it.
Putting out food is not something that works since they have some catfood outside at all times... she just shows up in the window when she wants to come in...

She doesn't really need to convinced to come home, so that's not the problem... if they wouldn't have trapped her in somewhere then she would've showed up each day, just as usual.

Fighting OCD urge feels like fighting an addiction but much worst. I gave in to my OCD obsessions a lot of times though. What a failure. The worst part is it's not even an addiction but a behavioural disorder, maybe that's why I'm taking it so tough. I managed to quit coke, social sites and other things I'm addicted to but why is this so tough???

I'm also trying to get rid of OCD urges. They almost completely disappeared for years, but have recently come back, and it is difficult. I think I've been succeeding lately though, by simply forcing the obsessive thoughts to STOP whenever I get an urge to do something. Just walk away, remind myself that no consequences will come from not doing whatever it is, and think vigorously about something else. I think of it like a strength of will test, which is kind of ironic because when I first had OCD I'd consider complying with the urges a test of my will strength....

Fuck. I need to be more careful with what I ask for... yes, I wanted overtime. But, I was thinking a nice and easy 6-8 hours a week, maybe every other week.

What did I get? Well, within 32 hours I worked 24 hours. 11am-11pm Thursday, 7am-7pm today. Just got home now, it's 8:30pm. The first shift guy bailed for tomorrow, so I need to wake up by 5:00am for work. Then Sunday I'm working 2nd shift. Then Mon-Fri I'll clock 52 hours (plus another 6-8 on Sunday). At least I have a 3-day weekend after that.


FYI, this post only belongs in the rant thread until I get my paycheck. Then, it can be moved to the "post if you're happy" thread.



OH, and my neighbors have the worst taste in music ever. Usually they're quiet. Tonight? They're blasting the garbage and trying to sing along. I want to punch them in the face. I believe two girls share the apt next to me. But that doesn't change me wanting to punch them in the face. At least I have headphones. And beer.


Edit: see, this is the problem. Looking at my numbers makes me happy. If I work 8 hours sunday, that'll put me at 60hrs for that week. That means my week's paycheck (before deductions) would be $1382.50. That's drool-worthy, and it's why I usually say yes to O/T. But I seem to forget until later... working that much means I don't get to have a life outside of working for 6 straight days.

This made me feel sad again coz my cat did the same disappearing act. Was gone for a while, then came back then left again and hasn't come back

Maybe you could attach a little wi-fi camera to her, that's what I thought of doing. You can put it on her collar.

I decided to play Portal tonight, and my laptop froze. I got a blue screen of death, but couldn't make out what the error was. I rebooted, and the screen no longer functions. =/ So that sucks. On the assumption it's not just the video cable that got knocked out of place, I don't have the money to fix it. All the more incentive to get a job quickly.

In the meantime, I have my parents' old and slow Mac to work on. Inconvenient, but a godsend in times like these. I can't function without the Internet nowadays.

Our cats can only stay in during the day, but not night.. it's my mom's order... but Buci likes to go outside often anyway, so we can't keep her in anyway...
I have no money for such camera and she has no collar... so that's not gonna work...

Erm coke as in the soda water type. I used to be addicted to it because I think it freshens me up when I'm tired. My OCD was okay but came back much worst because of school pressure I think.
