Nope, kawa kawa lol. I think it's somewhat related to kava kava genetically, and it was used historically for similar reasons, but it has a different chemical makeup. I've heard reports of anything from sedative to mildly psychedelic stimulant activity, and I think it has myristicin and related compounds in it so that doesn't surprise me, they're pretty variable from person to person.

I didn't much care for kava kava either. Though I'm not totally discounting it yet, I've heard that in very high doses it can have some psychedelic effects, I imagine similar to what amanitas and zolpidem can produce since it binds to the GABA-A receptor. I just looked up more stuff on kawa kawa, which I haven't actually tried yet, and it looks like extracts are commonly used for smoking, so I guess having the pukatea on regular leaves probably wouldn't be too interfering, but still.... If I order if I'm going to feel the need to order some kawa kawa too so I can feel out the effects myself.

I know people are mainly using pukatea for opiate-like effects, but my goal is more of a wide-spectrum D2 receptor activation. D2 causes the sedation in low doses, but hallucinations in high doses. I'm going for a multi-pronged attack, I want to make my own smoking blend full of D2 herbs.

You know what I do not understand at all about any website that has Forums is why people go into a thread that has a title that they know will think is stupid but they still click on the title and read it then just sit there and complain about the whole topic, why waste your time whining about the topic, why not just go somewhere you will feel good about yourself and the posts?.......
and is it ironic that i'm complaining about this, maybe just a little, but I'm not sitting here complaining about how everyone in this thread is ranting raving crying or complaining.

People are sooo honest here. and there are hundreds of different people posting on this thread. I come here to get to know folk then I hit there avatar to look at there threads and posts.

Wow, I'm a freaking dumbhead, I forgot to plug in my charger to let my laptop have energy overnight, which means I couldn't hear my alarm to wake me up after 4 hours of sleep to hopefully wake me up and send me into a dream lucidly....just...wow, that ONE LITTLE mistakes screws up EVERYTHING.....UGH!!!!

Plug the charger in the outlet, and THEN the alarm rings -.-

I'm hungover, and just put ginger, chilli, mixed herbs, cheese, and tomato puree on bread n toasted it. I threw up.

Are you sure that the hangover is the reason, Wolfwood? The stuff you described is enough to cause me nausea.

Haha, this is what happens when Wolfwood meets the kitchen. Oh I'm chugging down that water - it really is 'sweet'. Wish it usually felt this good.

God I have being hung over... I think I had between 8 and 10 "puking episodes" each consisting of 4 - 6 retchings. Lasted for hours... And a pretty constant nausea between them. This happens every time I drink substantially... I hate hangovers...

Damn.... it's never quite that bad for me. After I've finished throwing up, and have taken an aspirin, I'm left with a sort of 'dumbed-out' bliss for the whole day.

I've had an experience like that once... it was enough for me to make me not to drink anymore.

I don't know what's so good about it...

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. It doesn't affect everyone the same... lol some people just become ridiculously aggressive and clearly stupid, and then have a 2 day hangover. I know a few of them :/

In all seriousness, Wolfwood, try that cocktail, Cecil (Pick-me-up). Works for me, but don't overdo with it.
The other thing is orange juice or yougurt with soda-water.
What did you drink last night to get in this blissful condition?
