Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

Bah... headache today.
BUT, my left foot doesn't hurt nearly a much today. I can "point" it without cringing. I spent a LOT of time messaging it yesterday. I guess that helped.
My sleep problems have mostly resolved themselves as well. For the last couple of days I've actually managed 7 hours of sleep at one time (though I still woke briefly but often and tossed and turned a lot). I can also look down again without discomfort. WOOT!
December was an absolutely horrible month, health-wise.

To be honest, I don't hate school.

Eh, just wait. I hated school with a passion. But now I wish I was back. Mostly just to see my friends, but yeah. lol.

Rant:

I'm worried if I'm going to do well next semester in college. I know that if I work hard, I'll do okay, but still, I hate how I'm always worrying about things before they freaking happen! Sure fear forces you to burst out your potential, but too much can degrade it.

I really hate that an inferiority complex just happens to make itself apparent to me now, which is a really bad thing because everyone can pass college (at least here in America), and it's not going to be that bad finding a job (hopefully, since my father knows people who work for oil companies here in Texas, and THAT is something I should take advantage of when I get my Masters, and maybe a PhD in Biochemistry. Even though I have a fear of being humiliated, I don't mind destroying my self-esteem a bit because it helps me try to become even better. But it's always hard balancing myself from that, I have too many fucking thoughts in my head sometimes.

But I need to be on that borderline, because any less, and I'll slack off, any more, and I'll just fucking rage quit. Shit, and taking Molecular Genetics as an ELECTIVE for college? God, I wonder what my hobbies are going to be now...creating a cure for cancer out of nothingness? What is this $$$$ery?? Whatever, I knew taking Biochemistry was going to be a vigorous college degree, and I might as well stop bitching for now and take it in the butt.

15 days until college starts, but I need to go back earlier so I can create a mental map on my new classes.

And I hope everyone has a fulfilling year. Life really is going by fast.

Observation: seasonal emotional instability seems extra prevalent this year (purely subjective).

Taosaur, I definitely agree. I can usually see my p-doc any time I need to with very little notice. He has a successful but small practice, so he's never overly busy (and he's the only Doctor). But since around the middle of November, he's booked solid. I don't remember him being this busy before.
But this has been an unusually mild winter so far, so go figure.

School tomorrow here too :< Last night I went to sleep shortly after 7am, tomorrow morning I practically have to wake up then...

I'm going to undergo pretty much the same situation in 2 days. I've been sleeping at about 8am. On Wednesday I'll have to wake up at 8:30.

(first world problems) I freaking hate canned beer. Taste like piss in a can. Also... I'm sorta pissed at myself, I had three days to learning something nice, and I pissed it away. Well, two, I went snowboarding on Saturday, that was nice :3

The psychiatrist was unable to help me. He asked the same questions as my mother did.

And he issued me anti-depressant tabs.
Side effects: Keep you awake at night.
