I found out he was actually in denial about having cancer. So, he was just being stubborn. And well, it makes total sense that he'd keep smoking if he was sure he was gonna get better. He was slowly fading away... it was painful to watch. So... I'm glad he's not in pain anymore. Really. But... I guess what I'm saying is I don't know how to feel. There is no anger, no remorse, no real grief either, just... emptiness.

Sorry to hear that man. As dark and zhaylin said, everyone processes things differently.
I didn't cry either when my grandma died, until about maybe 2 or 3 days later, or something like that. Even if you don't at all, it's not "wrong". In any way.

Anyway, sorry that he died. I'm sure it is better than the suffering he was going through though.

Singularity, that's terrible, sorry. I've never been able to stand the thought of people dying like that, I suppose it's a phobia, it's just really sad. At least it's over though. It's something almost everyone has to deal with a few times in their lives.

I don't think I cried at all when any of my grandparents died, and last year I witnessed the family dog we'd had for 14 years being put to sleep, and willed myself not to cry at all, because I hate showing emotion around my parents. Then after the moment had passed I was just never able to cry. It's just an animal, but I think I felt as attached to her as I would to a human, or more so.

Alyzarin.... seriously, wtf? I know it's just anime, but I cringe watching it. If you really find that hot, then fine, it's nothing you can help, but it seems so fucked up to me. Rape, sure, I understand that. Even minor physical pain, okay. But actual torture, stabbing someone slowly to death?

I just want this day to be over, and for it to be tomorrow, so that I can drink. I haven't gotten drunk in 5 days, mostly to prove to myself that I'm not actually an alcoholic.

But yeah, the anime did make me cringe too. But hey, she persuaded me.

And tomorrow is Christmas Eve! WOOOHOOO (at least it's going to be in Texas)

This isn't the fetish thread, Dianeva. It's the insanity I like(d), that scene freaks me out quite a bit as well (well, the insanity aside), I'm just pretty desensitized to everything and a fan of the horror genre so I don't really have trouble watching it. I never thought about this kind of stuff when I was in the mood though, just the mental aspect of what's going to the crazy girl. Despite how it may seem from the links I've posted so far, that anime is actually really good with an awesome story and not at all focused solely on gore or anything like that. (Not that there isn't a good amount in it, I will admit.) It's the laugh.... The laugh gets me. I know I've said this a bunch of times now, but trust me, I was in a really dark place at the time. I can still joke about it now as a result, but I don't go for that stuff anymore. I'm a peace-loving hippie.

Of course, I also devote a lot of my time now thinking about peaceful, hippie-style insanity.

If you want to see crazy...

Watch the beginning of this...the guy just goes crazy because he knows the main character has no chance against him.

He has Multiple Personality Disorder, he did it to avoid the trauma of seeing humans killing demons in a blood fest like the torture video you posted not too long ago. =P

Well... if it makes you feel any better, there's quite a lot of death on the way up to it lol. Trust me, it's a pretty satisfying ending when you actually sit through the whole thing.
