Had a good time with my friend, it wasn't a date, because she told me she was glad she was going with someone who wasn't remotely interested in her. She had her friend the boyfriend of her friend come to. We went to eat some frozen yogurt. Her friend and her boyfriend seem like really good friends, down to earth.

I'm almost jealous in a way, but it wasn't so bad, I'm glad she saw me as a friend because she talked to me on how guys only want one thing...and her last date didn't go out so well.

So I guess that's one good thing about being socially inept, girls don't see you as a guy trying to unce unce unce with them. Didn't strike up a conversation with the group, and my friend told me she apologizes for not helping with that, but she's a good person. Wish I could go out more with her as a friend, but she seems to be busy. But oh well, I had fun eating cheesecake frozen yogurt

It's amazing that girls still don't understand that the only reason they hang out with them is to see if there's a chance the girl might want to fuck them.

Although if you CAN get past that, even though it always plays a little bit of a role in the friendship, they are better friends than guys IMO/E.

So.... my rant. I just went to the bank, driving back home, I see cops doing breath tests.
I think to myself "Why.... in the living fuck are they doing breathalysers on a Monday afternoon....Morons!"

I freak a little bit and wonder if I've got weed in my car or on me or anything.... any drugs at all.... nope, all good.

I do the test, "you're ok, have a good day", I go to drive off "wait! hold on!"....
I think in a split second about just driving off and pretending I didn't hear. But nup, that would be dumb, they'd probably just chase after me....

They ask me to pull over, one of the cops was checking cars while people were getting breathalysed. God dammit.... My rear tyres are bald and I have a crack in my windscreen. If he wasn't showing a new girl how to check everything, he wouldn't have seen the crack, only the tyres. Mother fucker....

At first I thought he was just saying my tires were flat, which they were a bit, coz the pump at the petrol station didn't work the other day, it just emptied more air. I was about to get really pissed off coz he said I have to fix it and then go to vicroads (like the DMV I think, and I'm sure you know how fucking long it takes to do anything there) and get it checked. But then I realised he meant they were bald, fair enough. Even though they're not really, there's still a few mm of tread left.

I've never had a speeding ticket. They should take that in to account when doing these things. I'm an excellent driver.

Meanwhile some fuckhead is speeding around with tyres that aren't almost bald and he's fine coz they never fucking get caught.

On the plus side, I received my 5-HTP and choline today from Kurzweil's supplement company. Un-checked by customs, which is pretty much a first lol I swear they check every package that comes in to this country. At least I know they probably only check 99% of them now lol

I thought I had to wait until Nov. 30 to register for my second semester classes but it turns out I was able to apply on Nov. 23. I was planning on registering for a certain psychology class but its full now. =/

I'm not sure if I should go with philosophy (for the hell of it and lulz when I'm high) or English (I'm assuming you need it for a handful of programs so it could come in handy).

I salute you. I plan on never choosing another English course once i'm out of school.

Not much was said actually. I told him my conditions, and he wouldn't respond. What the hell is with our coincidentally similar school registration-related situations? I was also able to register on Nov 23 exactly, but kind of forgot about it. It's only a couple days after the registration starts, so I thought I had plenty of time. Then a couple days ago I went to register for a linear algebra course I need and found that all of the seats in the class with the good teacher were taken, with 25 people on the wait-list. Now I'll have to suffer the bad professor through the entire semester.


I've never really understood this 'friend zone' problem thing. Either it's BS or it just works differently for me, because I can't really imagine wanting a relationship with a guy who I wasn't good friends with first.

I still haven't heard from him, no emails or anything, and the longer I go without hearing from him, the more I worry. I know he wouldn't kill himself and it's ridiculous to even have those thoughts, but I'm worrying anyway. Or maybe he's just gone insane, or he's so consumed with grief he can't do anything. He had final exams coming up soon, and maybe I've caused him to fail them, fail his classes and ruin his life. And I miss him, especially at night when I'm stressed and just feel like relaxing and talking to him and am just lonely and don't know what to do.

You can get past it, even though it always plays a little bit of a role in the friendship. But I think girls are better friends than guys.
It's almost always a consideration. Anyone who denies it is simply lying, or deluded due to a sexually repressive culture.

Most of the time it means you were always just friends. Guys like to think they suddenly are excluded from the woman's list or something.

I guess it might always be some consideration, but not necessarily large enough to matter. A guy was talking to me the other day about seeking relationships and mentioned that girls have been hitting on him a lot lately, but that he thinks all they want is sex. I asked him why he doesn't just have sex with them, and he said he's sick of doing that, that he tried the lifestyle before and it just doesn't feel right afterwards and that he wants an actual relationship. That's the situation I was thinking of when I responded.

For me and for many people I've talked to about it, after you've been friends with somebody for a while it just seems really weird to think about having sex with them, even if you're really attracted to them. Almost like thinking about having sex with a sister or something (not quite that bad).

Unless maybe there's been constant sexual attraction throughout the friendship and you've both been really wanting it to turn sexual the whole time but holding back for whatever reasons.

But once a girl tags you as the guy she's going to cry to and complain about how terribly her boyfriend treats her etc, you don't ever really have a shot except maybe as a pity f**k.

On a slightly darker side, I am not looking forward to these next two days. For one, I have to go to Winnipeg, which is the one city I absolutely hate with a passion, and two, I have to go to a funeral.

I have several female friends (well, two) I'm not interested in romantically. And they're both quite attractive, so it's nothing like that. And I knew them before I fell completely in love with the third girl I know, so it can't be blamed on that either. But then again maybe I'm just strange, who knows.

Oh yeah, you can definitely be friends with a female without it involving sexual desire - when Tommo talks like that I used to think he was trying to be a comedian. Starting to think he really believes it..

I then pick up my cellphone and it was only 10:50
I promptly fell back to sleep

Now I have to sew a button onto my sons pants. and be out the door in in about 40 minutes.
