Tommo, I'm too big a wuss for "real" yogurt. The stuff I'm in love with is "Chobani Greek Yogurt Indulgent Banana & Dark Chocolate" *drools* I like the stuff mixed with fruit. My other fave is with pineapple. But after eating so much of the one I love (which is exceptionally mild) everything else tastes too strong.

I played paintball for the first time today for a friends 18th party, it was pretty fun but hard work. I've got welts all over my arm and my knees are sore but hey, I wasn't too shabby for a first timer. They overcharge on the actual paintballs so much though haha, try to sell you twice what you need.
In worse news I applied for a casual job at Hungry Jack's (Burger King to you Americans) which I thought would be a cinch as its a new store opening but bam, application declined a couple of hours after I submitted it, no explanation given :(. Hoping it is just a technical issue like my resume didn't upload properly or something.

Rant-ish. Don't eggs give everyone gas lol. Google is not always your friend. I was looking up why eggs give me such nasty reflux. It's not a common trigger. So, to kill time while I was eating my egg sandwich :lol: I clicked on the other recommended search results which lead to egg intolerance, egg allergies, blah blah blah.
Seriously, though. Don't eggs cause gas?

And what the heck is with heartburn? I can't recall ever having "heart burn". My only complaint (with this) is the stomach acid coming up my throat to burn and choke me. Gas yes, pain YES, but not always together and never any burning in my chest.
My daughter made egg salad sandwiches and gave me one. I LOVE them but rarely eat them because they cause so many problems (chocolate is my other biggest culprit).

Rant/Rave: My cursed son got me onto ANOTHER new game :lol: "The secret of Grindea." So I got an advance, bought a Steam card and I've been playing it for hours. It's an old-school-style game- like Pokemon, Zelda (not the earliest lol), Harvest Moon, Dragon Quest (was that it's name- don't think it was... gah!- Nope, I was right :roll:)
It's definitely a grinder.
I needed to find something else to play on my PC while 7d2d is in pre-update.

For now, though, bed is calling...

Ooooo, found a place where it's okay to rant and rave?!

Rant: Standardized testing sucks. I've got to give my kiddos this extensive 1-on-1 test in the next few weeks. It takes about 45 minutes per kid. So I'm gonna be testing in the mornings for the next two weeks, likely. Which means two weeks of lost instruction for my kids, right before they have to take the "end of the year" (in APRIL?!?! They get out for the summer mid JUNE) online state-wide test that will go on my evaluation. There's no way they're going to make their projected scores based on the beginning of the year test, because we've had to halt instruction so much, as well as the fact that we'll have a whole two moths of curriculum that hasn't even been covered yet. This needs to change. It's ridiculous to expect the kids to do well in those conditions, and it's stupid to think teachers are going to just deal with it without making a fuss.

Rant: I wish the Fun Pimps (game creators) would stop teasing us with update plans "Some time in February"... which, with them, can mean anywhere from now to Summer :lol: When a major update happens, you have to restart your game (the game's still in Alpha). It's hard to put a lot of time into the game when you know the update is coming because you'll have to start from scratch once it arrives.

Rave: Grindea is a lot of fun. It's actually fairly tough for old school.
Rant: I hate that I can't rebind my basic controller keys. "A" for attacking makes more sense than "X" and my fingers are always tripping over themselves lol.

Rave: My daughter, Destinee, finally got another job :banana:
Rant: Because Paula totaled the car, I'll be back on taxi duty :mad:

Rant: I'm hungry and sleepy. The cats woke me up earlier. I heard terrible banging in the bathroom. I figured they were just romping until I remembered we blocked the tub and I heard a soft, mournful "meow". The piece of wood used to block the tub (an access panel) doesn't quite fit it completely. There's a very small opening between the edges. I suddenly had a vision of one of them having their head stuck with a broken neck and flailing body. I jumped out of bed and went to check. All was well. Simon was just under the tub spazzing because he couldn't get inside. :roll:

That's my breakfast every day. It doesn't hold me over very long but then I get too stubborn and lazy to eat anything else until dinner (and in all fairness, my "breakfast" is usually at 1:30 PM :lol:)
My hubby thinks having that twice a day is all the food a person needs to live. :huh: He's such a strange bird.

My rant-ish: I had another do-over dream last night. Only, I started over too far back in time. I was 17 and hadn't yet had my kids. I was looking for my ex, but when I found him he was Muslim. I was wondering how to get into a relationship with him without converting.
I found one of my Bibles, from the future, in a pawn shop. It had the written language I invented in my 20's written on the inside flap.
I kept telling myself to stay in school and do better this time around... but then I was looking for a strip club to work in, hoping to run into my current husband (even though we met in WV- not FL, in 1998, not 1991) :lol:
The dream was a total mash-up of events, both real and outrageous.
I was explaining the future to some people, telling them about the invention of vaping and explaining l-ion batteries (even though my vape uses a 2.7 v :huh:)

When I woke up my back was completely broken and my right arm was asleep :lol: My back still hurts (an hour later). Gah! I probably got close to 13 hours of sleep.

Other than that, everything quiet except taxi duty (the reason I woke up).

We are about to have distributed, trustless computing through an expansion of blockchain technology (Ethereum), we've got electronic cigarettes, VR with hand tracking, probably will have AR within 5 years. Actually you can already do mediocre AR with the Leap as well.

I made music with my hands! In real time! (a game someone else built, not mine). That's been a dream ever since I wanted to make music, those fruityloops type of programs were always too abstracted for me.

All the consumer VR is coming out this year, and you're all gonna have your goddamn minds blown.

They actually updated the Leap Motion Controller? Wow. I have it stored for a program that uses it for hand mocap, and I use a Kinect for Xbox One for general mocap. I don't have the program for the facial mocap, but I do have a version that was previously bought by another major company. I intend to use all for animation in the future, and they'll make it easier as well.

Got tricked into smoking weed. I've just come off a few month long binge of getting high regularly, and I've decided to put weed behind me for good, and then this asshole gives me one of those disposable juice vapes and tells me to puff on it, I puff on it once and exhale and he tells me It's weed. I was just trying not to be rude I guess, I don't know. Buh-bye dream recall.

Tommo. Sounds so cool, but gah it would make me sick. I've not been hyped up for VR because of my motion sickness. I can't even play some very basic games because of it. Hubby told me to pick up some reading glasses and see if it helps. Sitting further from my screen does help so who knows :lol:

No problem loading the site for me either.

Rant: My mouse is bugging out. I have to click something multiple times before it opens or otherwise does what one click used to.
Rant: I've been feeling very ill tonight. I ate 2 yogurts and a cheese for dinner. Too much food for me... especially seeing how we ate at the Indian restaurant this morning.
Rant: Or it could be my e-juice making me ill. I was suffering through around 3 mg nicotine for some 3 days. I finally found enough reject juice at 12 mg to fill my tank. I got through half of it then cut it with some zero.

Rave: I get my money tomorrow night. I've paid off the excess internet bill, so I'm back up to my $150. a week. Which helps a TON seeing how this week is (Rant) my sons counseling at $45. and $10. for gas.
Rave: I can get by with $10. in gas where it used to cost me $20. :banana: I am LOVING these gas prices.
Rave: My daughter owes me $20. which makes life even greater. She gets paid on Tuesday.

My melatonin hasn't even been scanned yet, so It's unlikely I'll get it any time soon & I'm kind of bummed that I'm recalling such lame dreams lately. I usually only record dreams if they're somewhat interesting, or at least I only upload them if I think people will find them interesting, but lately they've been really mundane adult kind of dreams like "Oh no, I need to find a new house because my landlord is an asshole" or something.
