Well, I was able to get a pack of cigs with some change... I messed up but soon I shall quit hopefully. I got to tell myself it's not hard to quit instead of it is hard to quit. :)

Well my exams are done and school is now completely over, yay I guess haha. I've been pretty sick the last few days though which is annoying. Now I have plenty of free time I should be able to dedicate a lot more to lucid dreaming :).
A few weeks ago, I was around 203-210 lbs. Now, I'm around 197.
Ugh.. I'm home but I do not feel well. I keep getting dizzy spells and my face looks swollen to me and my eyes look like I've been crying for hours.
Blood pressure is a tad low (90/60); blood sugar is perfect (83). Even my pulse is great at 80.
It's still great to be back :) Even my dream reflected my mood. I dreamed my dog was in labor and I was happy about it (and a tad annoyed because there'd be more animals lol)
I also dreamed of defending my religious views when someone was pushing me to go to a Methodist church.
Rant: the kids got NOTHING done while I was away. They blamed it on not having any trash bags... yet we have an abundance of wal-mart bags. Yeah, you'd fill them up quickly, but you'd still have the trash thrown away.
They did take care of all the animals though. The cats greeted me when I was taking hubby's luggage into his house. I thought they were starving because they're never that bold around hubby or strangers. But nope, they had lots of food on the porch. I guess they just missed me :smitten:
 for everyone.
Grats on that weight loss, Link :)
Now I'm off to eat some of hubby's tuna he left in my carry-on. It's spicy Thai, so I don't know how I'm going to like that, but food is food and I'm starving :chuckle:
I feel like I have discovered saving money for the first time. There's music equipment I want for about 300 to 400 bucks. Dealing with wanting cigarettes and scratch tickets all the time has to go. I figured out I can buy what I really want if I save 5 dollars every day for at least 2 months. It's going to be tough but well worth it once I save up enough! :)
I have been feeling better, but still not well enough. I took a couple of days off but went to work the rest of the days (because if I stay home I'd have to cook and in office I get hot food whenever I need). I guess the office air conditioning and the outside weather make me ill. It's been raining like crazy and it's too cold to come out of the blanket. Also, I got my period 10 days early but not surprising because my last period ended abruptly after 2 days. With fever and period, I've been feeling really weak and fainting a lot. I fainted at the bus stop, broke my umbrella and scraped my knees. I can't wait to get better. I wish it was summer already.
I was supposed to see my favourite band live tomorrow. Until the venue decided to cancel all events and concerts planned for this weekend. Our government has raised the terror alert level to 4 which is basically the highest level due to a “serious and imminent threat". I know they're just doing it for our safety but I'm still really upset about this. I've been looking forward to this gig for months now, and I was even gonna meet a few internet friends there. So it would have been a great night but now it's all ruined. :( But at least bring me the horizon said that they were going to reschedule the gig asap
Happy. My girlfriend bought me a pretty good ecig. It's not a 200 dollar good one but it works well enough! :)
Hey, what equipment are u buying? It's weird for me cuz all i need is my laptop, fl (which i pirated xD), and my earphones. I am saving to get a midi (got 50$ saved and I wanna reach like 150$ i guess for a good midi. I can ship thankfully, so it might be an online purchase). Now I know I NEED studio headphones, and I learned the lesson the hard way yesterday when I played some of my tracks using a strong bass-y speaker, which revealed problems in the level of some base instruments and distortion in the higher frequencies, but i won't be buying one anytime soon. I'm ok with just practicing using my earphones and letting it sound good only on earphones. I'm mostly saying this tho cuz I can't afford any studio headphones anyways xD
So yeah, at least got a little rant out there. What are the music equipment u wanna get??
Cool Louai its called Audio Box Music Suite. You can find it on Amazon and some physical music stores. I went to one in town last night. It looks awesome. It comes with a midi keyboard, a microphone, a guitar interface so I could hook up my electric to computer and comes with software! It costs about 300 probably wherever you buy it.
@Anju...so sorry to hear your not well. gentle hug
@LinkZelda....way to go Link :D
@Zhaylin that's kids...I think its in the oxford dictionary definition
:clairity: Anju. Fainting is NOT good. If it happened more than a couple times I'd get to a Dr. ASAP (if even remotely possible).
Feel much better soon.
 Meoh. Yeah, but I'm getting more and more impatient with them. They're not little kids any more dagnabbit.
Currently, there's squished dog poop or something on the AC vent in the bathroom... and the kitchen trash can was knocked over and there's eggshells everywhere. I'm going to see how long it takes them to take care of it... but if it's more than 2 days, I'm going to blow a gasket. The poop was there when I got home Thursday. It's turning into a disrespect thing. They don't respect themselves enough to clean up after themselves and they sure as heck don't respect me for letting them continue living here.
A rave, however, is that it appears Destinee might have a job. The training is 8 hours out of town on the 24th. The job is local however.
A silly rant: when did I get so old. I got an advance I bought Fallout. It's awesome, but I'm bored and sleepy after a couple hours. I'm ready to go to bed now  I thought for sure I would binge it for a week. Maybe I'm just still exhausted from the trip.
Another rant is that my dog is driving me up a friggin wall. She constantly wants in and out of my room and outside. She farting my room into a toxic wasteland. Because of her gas, I keep letting her out just in case she really does need to go. But, sheesh, dog, what did you eat  :chuckle:
My next splurge purchase is some good headphones. I REALLY hate earbuds. I LOVED my Bose headphones that the kids let a dog eat eons ago. Those things still cost almost $300. :panic: I need to learn how to save, myself.
I tell myself I can get those sorts of things once I no longer have to take my son to counseling every week ($35.) or after they move out. The way things are going, though, they'll never leave home :crying: :cackle:
Ah well, it is what it is.
My wife got me two amazing birthday presents. I don't care much for my birthday, but this was just amazing.
Grats on the gifts :) Hope you had a great day!
Raves: I figured out what to do about the kids. I'm starting to charge each of them $25. a week in rent. If they don't have a job and can't pay, they can work it off in an assigned chore room. The room must be clean every night by midnight. If others leave something in someone's assigned room- throw it away. It will be a basic hat-type drawing. Paula is currently the only one working so she is exempt from cleaning the kitchen (the consistently worse room in the house). When someone draws the bathroom or the kitchen they are exempt from that room the following week.
I gave them 3 choices: pay me the $25., complete the chore, or move out. It is now in their hands. I asked them if it was fair and they all agreed.
I'm also properly playing my game now :) I'm only level 7  I've been spending WAY too much time figuring out how to build stuff and making my house. Construction in the game is absolute crap but I still love it :cackle:
Now it's time to go to bed... long day of cleaning, rearranging, unpacking and sorting.
Hope everyone's well.
@Oneiroer Sound cool. I really need a midi now too. IDK if 3 octaves is enough. More than that is very expensive tho. Judging from the melodies i make, 3 octaves is kinda tight. I want to learn playing the piano with it, so I guess I'll need a bigger one. Lol ik that playing the piano is a skill in and of itself, but honestly while learning music theory and making music, it seems like I will really enjoy the practice and hopefully progress quickly.
@Zhaylin 300$ O.o
When i buy headphones, I pay 20$ max XD but it's not as fun as it sounds. They break quickly and don't sound that great. I managed to get original iphone 6 earphones cuz my sis gave them to me after getting an iphone 6. They are good and really made me realize how crappy 20$ stuff are xD but still, I need proper studio headphones. Hmmmmm music is expensive for me T^T
Rant: I SO hate my dog today! It's my mother's dog actually. It is VERY aggressive towards EVERYONE, even my mother. I've been telling her for FOUR YEARS how we should train it, but for some mysterious reason, she doesn't want to. IDK why. I honestly don't. She keeps making excuses like "it's expressing itself" when in reality it's being aggressive not expressive. I've research dogs and dog training A LOT, and I've trained multiples of dogs, and I can ASSURE you this dog is aggressive. Mind you there is not hitting or yelling in dog training. It's very effective and 100% caring and humane. And when my mom isn't around, that dog is an angel cuz I taught my brother how to train it and both of us being there alone makes the dog behave. But when mother come, oh boy, the dog goes back to it's aggressive self cuz my mom doesn't join the training effort. Honestly idk why. I mean, the dog barks and bites me right in front of her just if I pass by. It's causing me lots of stress for 4 years now. God some ppl are just unreasonable. There is no one in my family that can make my life a living hell as much as my mother cuz not only this, but she is very depressed and moody and angry all the time. It's just a mood killer being around her. Now ik she loves me a lot and had done so much for me and my siblings, but for the love of anything, just be cool and let us train the damn dog!! xD I mean I'm so angry inside bcz of this!! Anger just keeps pilling up. I swear if I'm ever gonna live with a partner, she has to be REASONABLE first and foremost.
But hey, at least i got something out of this. Seeing how horrible living with unreasonable ppl is, I worked on making myself a nice reasonable person and a person you wouldn't mind living with. That took a lot of effort, and trust me, I didn't even notice I was an unreasonable person until I really thought and considered it, seeing that most ppl who are unreasonable don't even notice it.
@Zhaylin...you are truly awesome! Way to go! don't forget to add in *cough* taking the poopin pooch for a walk :cackle:
Today, in the adventures of the Radiator That Caught On Fire... The radiator was still on fire. Well, the electronic piece that was on fire, that is. The electrician wasn't amused.
You know what's above say radiator (now safely removed) ? a wooden shelf. With books. That was far to close for confort.
Bose headphones are awesome. I have, what some people would consider, sizable (not quite large ) ears. The Bose are hollow enough that they don't hurt my ears. They have sound canceling and are an all around great product. i've picked up some cheap ones since I lost them and they just aren't up to the task in the least. I guess they spoiled me :chuckle:
Good thing about the dog is that she walks herself. We live pretty isolated, so we just open the door for her unless one of our 3 neighbors is out doing something. We don't live on top of each other. We can almost not see the third house and I usually don't even count them  But in the summer months they have an above ground pool and kids and sometimes the dog gets curious.
I've tried NOT letting the dog run. She poops in the driveway  But she just loves it too much to deny her. We have 13 acres and get deer, rabbits, birds all the time (even wild turkey occasionally). And she's getting old and is wonderfully trained. She wouldn't have pooped inside if the kids let her out regularly when I was gone.
Be careful, Milly! I know the fear. Our electrical outlets keep frizzing. Most of them have scorch marks. One day, our house is going to burn to the ground while we sleep! Hubby wont send anyone to fix it, though. We just make sure that things are unplugged if not in use.
Louai, I'm sort of weird like your mom. Our dog came to use knowing tricks. She sits, rolls over, shakes, and says "I love you". Destinee gets mad because I don't reinforce the training. But I'm like "she's not a circus animal". Aggression is another thing altogether though. That shouldn't be tolerated. But you say your mom has depression? Perhaps the dog is mirroring her anxiety or the all around tension in the house.
Just finished watching the newest Walking Dead ep. It was great but the webpage I use was overloaded and I kept having to wait for it to buffer... and then it seemed to end wrong (a few seconds prematurely or something). I don't dare try one of the other host sites though because they've been compromised. If I don't see the Full Screen option before I start a show, I go to one of the other hosts. Otherwise, I get virus alerts or phishing scams. It was the only host (out of 6) that hadn't been compromised. I need to just get off my butt and contact my cable company for the info I need to link our account to the internet. We HAVE the channel, just not the TV
Tonight, I go shopping for cleaning supplies, food and one bottle of vanilla e-juice. Then I'm broke
For now... it's either nap time or time for Fallout...
**tried to nap, couldn't. Got an email from hubby. Our internet billed us $80. bringing it up to around $210. for last month. After banging my head against a wall for 30 minutes, I finally remembered my user name and password for our on-line account. They allow us 250GB a month. we tend to push it to 270, at 280 they charge us extra. Or something like that.
I considered blocking the kids from accessing the internet at all... Paula offered to help pay the bill, but she's broke and doesn't realize how high it is. So, using my router, I blocked Netflix, Hulu and couchtuner. Those are the biggest culprits. For this month, we're already at 215 GB. According to our providers breakdown info- 250GB = c. 315hrs of streaming shows. Of course, some of that came from downloading games, but still. Even 250hrs of watching shows is too much. Isn't it. 2 x 30= 60. So 60hrs a month is my average. x 3 (other people in the house) 180 + (my) 60= 240. So, if EVERYONE only watched 2 hours a day, we would be okay. Someone is going overboard. :panic:
Anyhow, hubby's not happy and I don't blame him.
I'm not liking the sales right now. Only cause of my money situation. What I want to buy is like half off online and I can't afford it, yet. Oh well it will be well worth it once I buy it even if I really do have to pay like 300 dollars... :)
What kind of a monster are you??!! xDQuote:
So, using my router, I blocked Hulu
lol u guys spend more that 250 a month?! We get only 40 GB a month, and I alone spend 20 of them xD
Man i get it tho, If I had that much net, I would probably jump to 200 cuz of, u know, wut sucker would watch in 360px if they can 720px it?! XD
ahahahaha....hahaha.......ha........I just realized my internet sux T^T
LMAO
250 GB! That's enough for years! I use 5 GB a month lol.
I didn't even know there were data caps to internet plans... I'm pretty sure my previous internet supplier was unlimited, and I'm pretty sure my current internet supplier is unlimited. But I really don't download all that much anyway.
About 22 hours to go! Then I've got a 4-day weekend, which is long enough to justify changing my sleep schedule and sleeping at night again. Sweet.
@Milly Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa don't scare me like that
@Meoh Do not fret, for the radiator is now repaired and safe! Wich is good, because the temperature dropped like woah and there was frost inside the chimney.
