Rave: I just discovered the MOST amazing snack. It's called Brownie Brittle. I bought a small bag to try and *drools* OMG it is amazing. It's like the slightly burned edges of just baked brownies.

I got really sick eating those. And by sick I mean fat.

My mum got back home from work today and she wasn't feeling well at all. She was really dizzy and nauseous and she complained about having chest pains.
At first I thought it would get better if she'd rest a bit but then her arms started to hurt as well. I knew straight away that it had something to do with her heart.
So I called a local doctor and an ambulance and they told me that it was highly likely that she was having a heart attack. So they took her
to the nearest hospital a few hours ago and I still haven't heard from her. I'm so worried And I feel bad for not going with her to the hospital, the doctors told me I should but my mum didn't want me there. So I decided to just stay home and let my brother and her family know but I feel like I should've gone with her. The reason why I didn't was because I was afraid I'd break down there, I can't really cope with "bads news". I just really hope she'll be okay 'cause I honestly can't lose her

My rant is that I was sound asleep when WONK! Something was in my ear... I could feel the vibration of wings and an awful buzzing. My ear wanted to pop but I was terrified if it did, the fly could get deeper into my ear. So I tilted my ear down and gently messaged the hard bit that joins your head. I felt a plop and was confident it fell out. *whew* But I rinsed my ear out with eye drops (lol) and I'm about to take a hot shower. Gah! I think that's the first time I've ever had a bug in my ear.

Taxi service has been suspended for at least a month. My son quit until either Serious XM needs more people or a Comcast training group starts up. The company told him he can reapply for work there in a month. They just didn't have anywhere to stick him.
Paula officially quit today. They still haven't fixed her paycheck.

Thank you! I just got a call from the hospital and it was definitely a heart attack, she had to go through surgery but she's stable now. So I guess that's good.
But nobody's allowed to visit her today

A rave is that I showered with my Buddy Simon (a female cat ). She's been looking rather gross, so I thought, "Ehh, let's see if this works." She did marvelously well. I held and talked to her the whole time. She was a little panicked but settled quickly until I had to rinse off her belly. She didn't like that one bit, but she tolerated it. When I was drying her off, I noticed she had a sore on her side so I had to pin her down to put medicine on it. She avoided me for a while after that She's my buddy again today- having completely forgotten "insult to injury" I inflicted on her.

A rant is that my ear is sore. It's not bad- just enough to make me paranoid.

Ended up going to the Dr. I waited forever then didn't even see a Dr., but an Assistant. They're under the impression that it wasn't an insect at all but a build up of pressure which can cause a similar sensation of vibration, fullness, wings. BUT, she did look at my ears and said they were extremely clean and clear. What she could see anyhow. She said the pressure and discomfort could actually be further back where they can't see. Recommended I take Ibuprofen and an allergy med.
I say they're partially full of it. I've had allergies my entire life. I've NEVER felt anything even similar to what woke me yesterday! It was a bug. The appointment still put my mind at ease, so it wasn't a total loss lol

Long story short my renting company i think is lying saying i have bed bugs. I have had them before but got my place treated. They had the maintenence guy look supposedly and he said i had a ton. But i remember the last time i had a ton. I actually saw them. Im not getting bit and it dosnt even look like the maintenence guy was at my place. Sorry if disturbibg but just something i wanted to say. No one should have to deal with bed bugs.im caling a real company and have them do an inspection for a second opinion

Mat. 6:15 says pretty much the same thing as the one you mentioned earlier- only this one isn't questioned I'm glad I'm not a scribe. Knowing what belongs where and why would drive me crazy.

My rant is that I feel Blah. A little nauseous, a bit headachy, very fatigued. And the kids are annoying me having to restart the router a million times a day. My direct connection almost always works. Their wireless, however, keeps crapping out. Then they whine about it and say we need a new one. I don't need a new nothin'. They want better, they buy it. Those turkey's are adults now. It grates on me when they still look to me to cover all their wants.
Destinee and Paula are starving because they don't know how to manage money and take care of their paper work for food stamps and lose them (*cough/cough- Destinee*). Sorry chica, I'm on a very fixed budget.

Then someone turned around and broke the knob under the sink to turn the water on and off The faucet knob broke eons ago- and now that one is gone as well- making the kitchen sink completely useless And then they whine to me about it. *shrugs* It is what it is. I can't fix it. I've not used it for years so I don't *need* to fix it. They'll need to find a work-around or... I don't know... move out and then they'll have their own stuff to break

No wonder I feel "blah"

2 of our cats- RoRo and Ms. Molly- cannot stand each other. They are forever pestering, bickering and fighting one another. I went to feed the animals and the cats saw each other and one of them attacked.... me I was standing between them and she lashed out, nabbing me with her claws in three places. Then my Syncope kicked in but very mildly. What the heck. I frequently have much worse headaches than those minor scratches. I wiped them once and the bleeding stopped. No bandages required. Silly, silly body.

Otherwise, it's been a very peaceful day.

My rant is that I'm exhausted. Hubby and I went to the Farm today to meet with someone who's going to clean the place up in exchange for exclusive hunting rights. He's the bus driver for the kids out there and drove my kids when we lived there several years back. He's a very fun guy to be around.
Hubby and I ate at a local dive on our way there, and my stomach was not happy one bit. Before the bus driver showed up, I went down the hill 4 times for my stomach to blow out. Then the driver came along with his son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter. They were talking about the camera they set up near the barn and all the animals they've seen. All I could think of well "UGH! They're going to see my butt "

They even got a bear on camera. We knew there's some out there. Never saw one, but we saw paw prints once beneath the barn

I made my goal of 5,000 steps a day in 3 hours. THe girls are going to have me out running around tomorrow. Gah! I'm getting gas money out of it though, so it's all good.
We're also going to have to go back up to the Farm within the next few days. The trees are ripe with apples, there are loads of black berries and a whole lot of green grapes. It's only 22 miles out there. I don't know why it feels so much further.
We're also going to try to take the cats to a no-kill shelter some time this week. It's an hour or 2 away- but the drive will be worth it to give the kitties a fresh start. They're amazing cats. There's just too many of them.

We have Climber and her 5 or so babies... all but one of which are sickly with boogery eyes. Then there's Ms.Molly. Her last baby died yesterday (intestinal illness). There's Squirmy (currently MIA) and her 5 babies or so- all healthy, all rotten. There's RoRo, who's not going anywhere. She's too old to have babies and having made her way home after being missing for 4 years- it would just be wrong to get rid of her. Then there's B.B.- a male. And my buddy Simon. Oh yes, and Paula's Pumpkin.
So yeah.... wayyy ytoo many friggin cats.
Mojo (Squirmy's), Simon and Tabbs (Squirmy's) will be the hardest ones for me to part with. But if we don't, we'll run in to this problem again next year.

Although I bought one for my mum and brother and they're both still smoking cigarettes.... waste of money.

Rant is I'm a f*&#ing alcoholic. Just cannot resist having a drink every night. To be fair my life's pretty shit, what else am I gonna do.
But it's clearly affecting my life now.

Also I need a new job. The one person I like there is probably gonna leave soon, she's been going to interviews and stuff, and it made me feel really lonely when she said that.
I realised I need to move on/improve my life as well and stop being complacent. Not looking forward to going to interviews again.
I want to work in disability care or something to get relevant nursing experience. I was looking today and a lot say you need certificates etc. Not sure if being a nursing student will make up for that. Just gonna apply to some places and see what happens I guess.

And if it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure I'm an alcoholic as well . I spent most of the past few weeks either drunk or hungover oops.

Update: I still suck at driving, it's actually embarrassing. I just keep stalling the goddamn car. My permit expires in January so time is running out slowly. If I'm not gonna make any progress over the next few weeks, I'm just gonna go follow some driving lessons with an actual instructor. 'Cause my dad is currently 'teaching' me.

Rant: I have this embarrassing problem which doesn't really bug me that much. But it could cause troubles later on and it honestly scares me so much. I'm not sure wether to go and see a doctor or not because I might be able to fix it over time but then again, I'm not sure.

Just keep at it. Once you get comfortable driving manual, you'll never want to drive an automatic. OK, "never" is a big word, but I learned on a manual and have no desire whatsoever to get an automatic car. I'm actually bummed, because in the US there doesn't seem to be a lot of options for manual transmission, especially if you just want a simple sedan.


And speaking of cars, holy hell, why are there so many people on the road at 1pm on a Monday?! It's like goddamn rush-our traffic out there. We got out of school 30 minutes early, but it took me 30 minutes longer to get home. Then I stopped at the grocery store to snag a few things and even that was packed.

But the store did have the "Not Your Father's Root Beer," that the one guy at school was raving over. He said he doesn't even taste the alcohol, and it's about 5 or 6% if I remember. But the lady at the counter who always recognizes me said she tried it and could definitely taste the alcohol. She also said she normally doesn't drink much alcohol. The guy from school normally drinks a lot of alcohol. So, I'll guess I'll find out where I fit in when I try it.

So the verdict on the root beer -- I don't taste any alcohol. It's got a slightly odd aftertaste, but nothing that screams "alcohol." Tastes just like root beer to me; root beer that'll get you drunk.

It took me 1.5 hours to get home today. The distance from office to my house is 4km. I would have walked if I didn't have the laptop to carry.

Agree with manual being better than auto. I didn't used to think so, but after driving manual I realise how much better it is. You basically don't notice shifting gears after a while and you have much more control over acceleration, fuel usage, and also use your brakes much less which means replacing them less often.

Rant: Remembered I have an 8:00AM class, FML.

I like manual cars unless I'm driving up a hill that has stop lights/signs I never could get used to the feeling of rolling backward without panicking.

Traffic around here has been insane too. We live in a small town... that's apparently growing. I don't like it one bit lol. It's not bumper to bumper and doesn't usually cause delays (unless you're stuck behind a school bus or there's an accident) though. If we get even a small population surge that will quickly change.

My rant is that I feel very off. My ears keep partially closing like when I get a dizzy spell. My blood pressure has been running on the low side of awesome (90/69) so it's not that. Maybe it's period related. I don't have much of an appetite. What I'm craving are liquids and milk.
last night was rough. I was feeling very nauseous, so I made myself eat a cream cheese and berries danish. It was VERY good and I was glad I ate it... then I went to bed and I got one of the worst cases of reflux I've had in a very long time. I was too sleepy/out of it to take any meds. I tried at some point to get up. I turned on a light, then laid down and fell right back into fitful sleep for 2 more hours.

Another rant is silly. I was at our local beer/tobacco/lotto store buying tubes for the kids the other day. A woman came over to me and hugged me- saying how much she missed me; how I was one of her favorite customers at Sheetz; how sweet/beautiful/kind I am. That was before I even went inside. then she gave me several more hugs, said she loves me but "I'm not funny in *that* way." My son was with me and in the car he said he could only imagine how awkward that was for me. I'm not a hugger. I mean, if someone needs one, I'll give one, but I don't just offer. I'm a hands off sort of person for the most part.
I laughed and said "She was just a little drunk." She had been fired and was just feeling down. She was always very pleasant at the store.

Then yesterday, I was at Exxon and a stranger pointed out a double rainbow. She kept apologizing for disturbing me but I assured her it was okay and made some disjointed small talk about the rainbow. She said several times how nice I am.
Which annoys me and leads to my silly rant. Why does being thought of as nice annoy me lol.

So I can put on a happy face and show civility to people. Is that such a rarity in this day and age? I have bad days and dark thoughts like everyone else. I'm just better at hiding them. So that makes me a nice/good person?

Paula just came back... I need to take her to the DMV again. 28 miles away She'll finally get her tags for her car, though.

I'm honestly so proud of myself, I drove for about 2 hours today on busy roads, and I only stalled once!! I might actually get good at this whole driving thing lmfao.

Rant: I've got a doctors appointment for my "embarrassing problem" tomorrow and I'm really nervous. I asked for a male doctor but he's on holiday until August so now I have to go to a female doctor. Just my luck 😫

My rant is that I'm too lazy to shower again. Wth? I love showers. I showered before that trip to the Farm and haven't had another yet.
I also had to put a kitten down the other day. That always makes me sad. 2 others are holding in there and they're doing amazingly well for being "blind". I wish I knew what this cat virus was. Maybe I could go to Southern Farms and buy some shots. I swear I should have been a vet. When I was younger, I didn't pursue it because 1) well, I suck at math and all things science related 2) The very thought of killing animals traumatized me.
Anyhow, they have green gunk/puss in their eyes that causes swelling and caking. I wipe their eyes several times a day and even pry their eyes open and gently wipe the swollen tissue right on top of their eyeballs. They have drippy/runny/green goo noses which I also wipe.
They have coughs and sneezes and now diarhea. the kittens tend to get the green goo while the adults get the sniffles and the poos.

The kittens seem to carry their gunkiness until they're at least 6 months old- if they survive it. The adults seem fine one day, disappear for a few days and return significantly thinner- if they return. If the adults beat the diahrea, they live long, healthy lives. ???

So- that's been my life. Just nursing the animals and running people all over creation. Paula was denied tags the last time we went to the Elkins DMV. When I took my eldest to counseling, she tagged along and we went to the Clarksburg DMV and she got them without any trouble.

Night before last I had a dream that I had an OBE. I was in a room with a bunch of guys (in physical form) and they were talking about the planet they were going to ascend to when they died. They listed some other planet in our solar system- Hermeedes or something. I argued with them that it wasn't a real planet... but that it didn't matter because I was going to ascend beyond our system. They told me I couldn't do that but I just shrugged lol. That was the strangest dream I've had for a while. I think it's because I read a blurb about the Heaven (?) Cult before falling asleep.

Did I read right that someone is learning to play piano? If so I am too! I can play a little bit but am learning the basics right now. I taught myself how to play joy to the world and can name where all the white key notes go.

Oh, hi, ravers and ranters.

I grew out my hair for 436 days until I finally got tired of it. Just got a haircut yesterday, and I was so upset with my experience at the hairdresser and I hated the result. I had already sat down in the barber chair when I realized that the dude hardly spoke Danish at all. My expectation had been to enter and then have a discussion with the person about what would look best on me. My hairline goes pretty far up, what do you think I should do about that? Also my face is horribly tanned at the moment, so would it look completely horrendous if I shaved the sides and back and went for an undercut? And since I've long been confused about the shenanigans my hair gets up to, can you perhaps say anything about my hair type and how I should manage it? I also figured maybe a hairdresser would be interested in the fact that I've been taking pictures of my hair ever since I buzzed all of it off, 436 days ago and that I could show the video of it...
But no, our dialogue amounted to something like "Short?", "Uhh, I dunno, yes?" and then he just did his thing. Luckily though, upon further review I ended up really liking the result so hey!

Also, I've developed a crush on a girl that I have one singular chance of seeing some nonspecific time next week. If it doesn't happen, then I'll probably never see her again. These feelings are wonderful, but they are also tearing me apart.
