Family bbq today. I finally talked quite a bit. For some reason talking to family is difficult for me.
I've been working on being social a lot in general and talk soooo much more than I used to.

However it got to a point where I was just like *ughuewghe kill me*. And one of my cousins tried to talk to me and I could barely muster a coherent/interesting sentence.
I used to think maybe I'm not an introvert, just shy/anxious etc. But I'm definitely an introvert, get so drained by anything social.

I'm happy being an introvert. There's a lot I don't like about it, but it's a million times better than the alternative (IMHO)

My rant is all the fuss over "gay" marriage. Who cares. If you're not gay, it does not effect you one bit. If you're religious, it still doesn't effect you one bit.
Not everyone follows the same g/God/s. The "rules" for the one don't necessarily apply to the others.
It's tedious and annoying and tiresome. My FB page is blown up over the differing sides.

Otherwise, it's been quiet. I finally broke down and did some laundry in our wash. Hung them in my room to dry. They're itching me to death. I NEED to take them to the laundromat.
We're getting rid of the last puppy soon. Paula was going to keep her, but then they ran out of money and food and the person wanting the pup is going to buy her plus she had a sob story about having just lost her furry friend.
If only getting rid of cats was just as easy!

A friend of my daughter took one of our cats and her kittens to the pound the other day. I ended up getting them back though. The pound has this shed for drop-offs after hours and that's where they were. I just can't condemn them to death like that.
I'll keep looking for homes though until only my bird and Keirra remain.

My cousin uses WhatsApp to text, and I've always responded to his messages through normal text (without the app)... My dumb ass didn't realize I was being billed for each text until I checked my account info just now. Thankfully it's only 5 cents per, but goddamn. D:

I've been paying an extra $5-$10 per month and I had no idea because I set my account on auto-pay and didn't bother checking it. Welp, lesson learned. ._.

I'm in a productive mood today. My parents are in town, and we added an antenna so I can successfully cut the cable cord. It works pretty well too. It's as clear as what AT&T would charge me $40 a month for, and for only $80 once. We also installed outside surround sound with bluetooth control, and it works perfectly. They are painting now.

The rant is I am on Day 5 of a headache. I realized too that I had the exact same headache when they came help us move two years ago to the day. Then, I looked it up, and I had such a bad headache a year ago to the day that I lost all my credit cards with no recollection of what happened. Basically, this confirms the cluster diagnosis. Which is shitty because my medicine only comes in doses of 9, and I am out.

At school, about half the class is into RPGs. But... not the ones I'm into. They're all playing ESO or the new Witcher game, while I'm playing Pillars of Eternity and Grimrock and Wasteland. So I can't join the conversations.

Half of them are real big into beer as well, but they all seem to drink everything but stouts and porters... which is essentially all I drink. So I can't join the conversations.

One of the guys at school and several at work are into metal music. But... mostly death metal or hardcore stuff, whereas I like more of the doomy and droney stuff. So I can't join the conversations.

Two guys at work are bikers (as in bicycle, not motorcycles). But they're mile-counters that stick to the roads. I just like cruising around in the woods and hate road-biking.

I mean, I like that I can just do my own thing and all... but, cut me a break somewhere?! This is just a tease. Anyway, this is a happy rant. I've got some good food cookin', tried a new beer today and it's great, and... I'm on vacation from work. So all's well. More vegetation.

Back at work now. I wanna go on holiday again.

Float tank still isn't working out. It's so difficult to get it exact, and it needs to be almost perfect to block out light. But no wood is perfectly cut, so I gotta fill in with silicone and probably buy some rubber strips.

Every time after I do a part of it I'm like "....oh, I could done that in a different way much better".

So frustrating!

No rants or raves. Everything's been nice and quiet.
Well, I guess I do have a grumble. One of the kittens was sitting on my keyboard yesterday. The screen was locked because I was out, but the keyboard was making all sorts of noises. One of the Scroll locks was permanently locked for some reason. I switched keyboards. Whenever I play Minecraft, my keyboard starts dinging. I think it wants to assign sticky-keys. Then my internet browsers act all fluky. I ran a virus scan and had 3 trojan horses.

I'm about to get back on Minecraft and see if the problem persists.

So I passed year 12

graduation and prom wasn't too bad, but I struggled with getting out of bed the next day cos we had to go to school to hand in our books.
I think I got home at about 5am and I had to wake up at 7am so that wasn't fun at all.

It's been like 36 degrees the past few days and I passed out twice today LOL.
I should probably drink more water especially in this weather. Just find it weird that I'm not really hungry or thirsty lately.
And it sucks not having any close friends to hang out with. Because now I'm just stuck in my house being bored.

Earlier today my friend sent me a video from liveleak so I clicked on the link. And it turned out to be a video of a girl who's had a car crash and her face was completely ripped off. I felt so sick after watching it and I can't get the image out of my head, it was just horrible

Be careful with that passing out!!! Is it just from the heat or could your blood pressure be running low?

No rants here. I had forgotten the other keyboard was a piece of crap. So I took apart the one that wasn't working and dusted it. I was afraid to pop out the keys because I didn't want to break it... but once it stopped working, I figured, there was nothing to lose, so I did. It works like a charm now. I was amazed by the amount of dust!!

It's been a bad year for bugs, but I don't mind because I'm learning things. Or trying to anyhow lol. Every time I go outside, I either pick up a tick or some other bug that looks like a tick at first glance. I was calling it an elephant beetle because it has a long nose. I knew right away it was just a beetle, but I finally looked it up today and it's a weevil. Cute little buggers. We never have things like rice or flour, so it's not a bug I'm worried about in the least. I just put them back outside.

I also found some other bug I've not been able to identify. It looked almost like a translucent house fly. It had black spots- one at its head and one (2 total) at the back edge of it's back. Very strange looking. I put it outside too

I've been nursing one of our cats back to health and she lets me. She keeps getting into fights and has a large section of fur and skin missing on her neck. It looked pretty rank for a while, then I started wiping it with my alcohol wipes and putting some neosporin-type cream on it (and on some lesser wounds too) It's getting better quickly. Now, if only she and RoRo would learn to get along (and whoever else she's picking fights with!)

Hubby has this week off. We saw the new Jurassic Park movie and another one... ah yes, the new Terminator movie. It wasn't nearly as good as Jurassic. We're going to venture off to eat something soon. I had half a small red velvet milkshake about an hour ago though, and my stomach is very angry with me lol.
Gotta start getting ready...

I've been taking a break this week and allowing myself to be lazy. All that hiking i've done while traveling and all that training at the gym i've done before that, i've lost nearly 10 pounds. I normally weigh between 150-155lbs but before traveling my weight dropped to 145lbs from training then when i came back my weight was at 142lbs. Which isn't bad but that along with how tired i've been feeling means i deserve a break.

A break sounds freaking fantastic.

I'm inadvertently getting a break next 2 weeks. That is, 3 days off in a row, both weeks. Which is great, but at the same time, it puts me crazy behind the day I get back, while putting the other decorator in a hot mess for those 3 days.

But DAYUMN I'm gonna do some cool culinary shit on my days off. I don't know what yet but I'm gonna. Then I'll post pics. I might even squeeze some LDs in there too

The last time I remember watching fireworks was many years ago, before i got a job that never allows me holidays off, before Dad knew he had cancer, back when I could just go out to grandma's house and watch them over the river. Not just because no one else invited me, but because it was the primo spot and I always wanted to invite someone special to share it with because it was that good.

But no one has ever come with me. To this day.

The last time I seen fireworks it was just me and my Dad, sitting on the lawn alone together, having the best Fourth I've had since that very one, too many years ago now...

My rant is that the fleas have finally appeared... in droves. They are vicious little buggers. My poor dog is infested. I'm going to pick up some flea shampoo and drops for her tomorrow night. And some OFF for myself.
Another rant is my buddy Simon. She's been chilling in my room for months now. Last night, my bird woke me up hissing because Simon got on top of my PC and was staring the bird down. I kicked her out, went back to bed. I let her back in when I woke up and she went straight for the bird cage again

So I squirted her with Essential Oil/Water. I use the mixture as perfume. I need to get another bottle for just water to squirt at the cats.

Yet another rant is that Paula seems dead set in trading her car. What the heck? She FINALLY just got the title properly signed and car insurance. Tags are next. She was going to trade with someone who lives an hour and a half away last night until I talked to her. "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck- it's a duck." It was a BMW with a cracked windshield and *drum roll please* a popped out ignition switch because the owner "lost" his keys. I asked her why he was trading such a nice car for her lemon.

YES, her car needs a LOT of work. But it's finally hers. She wants to get on line and swap cars with strangers.
But, it's her car, her money, her choice. I just don't understand is all.

Rave: I'm absolutely loving a huge cup I bought from Speedway (gas station/convenient store) the other day. It's 64 ounces. Filling it costs 84 cents at Sheetz (

) and $1.26 at Speedway. I drink it all day and it stays good. I've yet to finish an entire cup.

Oh, another rant is that Pumpkin (the cat- Paula's cat) showed up yesterday. She had been missing for a couple days. The cats around here come and go all the time so I don't worry. But she showed up thin as a rail. She had been pregnant and had a healthy chunk going on previously. She looks like a different cat. Her poor eyes show the pain and sickness she's in. But she came home. And now she's eating and drinking and looking healthier already. But she's being so vocal. She was never a vocal cat before. Paula was all upset wondering why. "Does she have food and water? Yes? Then she wants love and comfort."

Time to find food...

Not all that surprising, but still annoying, I walk away from my drum set for 10 minutes during a party and come back to find someone else playing it (and I even tried to hide the drum sticks). To add insult to injury, he went and readjusted everything on it to suit him. Why do people think this is acceptable? Yea, those cymbals you're smashing? Two of them from the 1960s, and the other was custom made from a sheet of metal by a cymbalsmith in California. The drums are from the 1980s, and I'm the second owner.

In reality, my gear isn't even that expensive monetarily-speaking. But regardless it has all been hand-picked over the years and thus very personal to me. It just seems incredibly disrespectful to me, and I don't understand why people assume it's their right to just hop on and play someone else's instrument without even asking permission.

Long-winded rant aside, all else was well. I played with a few friends for a 4th of July party again this year, and everyone had a blast. It was my first time drumming in about three years, and we played for maybe four hours. It was very casual, and I only even knew about 10% of the songs we played. But I winged it for the rest, and it actually went real smooth. I'm much better at just jamming and following along anyway. Having a drunk crowd helps, too. They were 'crowd-surfing' and singing along for the entire second set, which was pretty crazy.

I didn't really get to drink though, which I guess is a bummer, but in reality drinking is always one of those things that looks so much fun when I'm not doing it, but isn't actually all that enjoyable for me. But I stayed sober because I was half-expecting to get pulled over on the way home. Driving at 2am on July 4th with an expired registration would've made me a prime target, but apparently all the cops were busy elsewhere. They were literally having a field day all along the highway when I was going home.

Now all the fun's over. Vacations over; back to work tonight.

With my parents retiring next month, I thought it was only right to offer them my rental house, seeing as how, since I moved 3 years ago, they have been taking care of our tenants, often against my wishes. We made a deal that'll allow them to buy us out of the mortgage for a small sum of money, which is more than enough for us to buy a hot tub for our new house, and have a bit left over for savings. It's not much, but I like that I am giving them SOMETHING for retirement, though they definitely don't need it.

Plus, hot tub!

I am done helping people out with a place to stay. I got angry at someone who I was helping sure I said some things. The guy is supposedly a Christian and denies mark 11 26... Saying there is no Mark 11 26 where it talks about forgiveness... I'm upset but letting it be. Trying to move on.

Oneiroer, That Bible verse has- to some people- questionable authenticity. It doesn't exist in all Bibles. In my New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness) Bible, the verse looks like "---"

My rant is... ??? just blah. Paula and Destinee were fighting earlier. Paula's a naysayer/pessimistic realist. Destinee's an upbeat/nieve (SP!)optimist. Paula's paycheck was shorted 20 hours. She screams discrimination because she's Mexican and gay. Destinee says the people are just incompetent and try not to take things so personally. Then there's doubt over a new job she's trying to get and Paula was just bemoaning her lot in life and being gloomy. Destinee tries to balance the scales but gets wayyyy too friggin perky. I was there for a while, mediating between them "What she's really saying is..... " "She just feels like....." I left and the crap hit the fan and Paula was leaving and Destinee was in tears

I went out for food and they're both gone now. I want to pull my daughter aside and explain to her that she has to bottle up some of that perkiness when someone feels as low as Paula. I know what she's trying to do- I understand my daughters mind-set etc, but it annoys even me

It comes across as condescending and somewhat mocking.

SOOOO- I'm back to taxi service full time for the most part. If Paula sucks it up and sticks out the telemarketing job, I'm still taxiing because she has different hours. If she gets the nurse-in-training (CPA???), it's at a different place altogether and I'm still stuck driving my son.

I keep having dreams of kicking everyone out. At least Paula and Ray try and have jobs. Destinee and Miley do absolutely nothing and it's getting on my last nerve. "It's not MY mess- why should I clean it." Because you live here free of charge, have internet, water, electric and I friggin sAY so." *cracks whip* has whip thrown back at me followed by laughter. Not really, but that's what it feels like
