Cutting off a *little* circulation to the toe helps the pain enormously... but my hubby said it's not a good idea So long as my toe doesn't become cold to the touch, I'm leaving it wrapped. When I'm done with my daughter, I'll put an ice pack on it, elevate it and do the right things.

Ingrown Toe nail?

No... I do this all the freagin time. Whenever I skimp on sleep or take too much caffeine, my anxiety surges and when that happens I pop my knuckles more. My big left toe always suffers the most because I inch-worm it. I can pretty much just flex my right toe and it pops no problem. The consistent pressure creates the pain. I don't understand the logic or the mechanism behind it all but I know what causes it all and how to stop it.
But I can't NOT pop the toe. Even now, if I stand on it, the pain flares but I still HAVE to pop it.
Putting any pressure on it, from the bottom, hurts tremendously and when I'm off my feet the urge to pop is almost non-existent.

Thankfully, I'm home for the night. I'll get a good nights sleep, lay off the caffeine for a couple of days and the toe will feel better in no time.
I kept the yarn wrapped around the bottom of the toe for a few hours. While visiting with my daughter at her friends house, I sat sideways in the chair, elevating my feet which dulled the pain greatly
Then I laid on the floor and took a nap for an hour The man of the house laughed at me because I used a book as a pillow.

I REALLY needed that nap!

Just got my hair cut like 2 weeks ago, and its grown back a lot already (well this all goes for my bangs and such), doesn't look like much of a difference.......i need to get it cut shorter xD

Sounds cute. Go for the buzz cut or realistically, how about a "pixie" cut?

I buzz cut my hair as short as it would get with no attachment on the clippers. I think the last time I did was in late August/early September of last year. My bangs are already past my eyebrows and the length grazes the bottom of my neck. Now it looks cute- almost pixie-ish. I've not trimmed it at all

My rant is: since when do houseflies bite? They don't draw blood, but there's a definite "pinch" when they land on you.
But we DID get a horse fly inside earlier. It drew blood from my daughter and she then went on a rampage with the fly swatter

I fell asleep from 9PM-2:30AM. My toe still aches but not unbearably. I had to use pillow cases as sheets and blankets though because dear daughter has been hogging the washer. I went to Goodwill to buy some blankets but I was in a hurry and didn't pay close enough attention, so I bought 2 sets of pillow cases instead *grrr*. I laid 2 of them down on the plastic of my air mattress so my face wouldn't stick, I "potato sacked" another one then used the last for my chest. I WILL get my blankets washed TODAY. Dear daughter can wait a couple hours.

The house of one of my best friends burnt down. This is quite sad.

I'm grumbling a little bit about the bee stings still. The worst one on my leg had swollen up to about the size of a baseball before settling down. The others still itch a bit, but are no longer swollen. Once again, I must reinforce the fact that I hate bees. What purpose do they have other than to sting people and animals? Why couldn't something nicer, like butterflies, pollinate flowers and such?

On the bright side, I'm glad they were yellow jackets and not black wasps. If it were the latter, I would have had about 5 minutes to shove a plastic hose down my throat before it closes up from swelling, then locate and shoot myself up with my anti-venom kit. I'm deadly allergic to black wasps, so I count myself lucky.

Another man six feed under. So quick and so unexpected. So life.

I always thought if you were allergic to one bee, you were allergic to them all. It's nice to learn that's not necessarily the case!

I'm getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow...
and I have to move in to my new dorm in 3 days.

So not only is my first impression on everyone going to be someone with a swollen face who cringes when they smile...
but I am also going to be drugged out/in pain and probably not in the mood to do anything.

Blah I know it's petty.
