3. Same condition for #2, except if a person has been around for a while, and basically posts the same ideology as the other who is not known as much, and everyone just suddenly goes "OH MY GOD, I GET IT NOW!" when that one was just....just...oh my ****ing god, you cannot even believe it, it's like the same shit, just with different words--------------------------->
4. Then add in the other factor of them being friends for a while, and they just like the post either way, meaning they have less doubt on their posts, which is in most cases, might see innocent, but sometimes, it just makes the person endorsing their post through a like have an ego boost.
ESPECIALLY, A==>B convo:
A: "Well, if you put the thingamajigger there, and add some other stuff that will "eventually" come in, presto!"
B: "Hehehehe blah blah blah extensive utilization of gargantuan vocabulary and syntax to make the person look stupid"
(20 bajilion peopleliked this)
A: *looks at number of likes* Shit, how am I suppose to counter that! It's basically bullet-proof!! Hnnnnnggg!
*Actually makes a retaliation that makes sense, but usually is focused on attacking the person rather than the concept they're providing*

A: Poop, not enough!
Ugh.
This was pretty awesome except I don't get (3), but I'm tired.

Not that I would know anything about that.
Well it isn't going to work when you let everyone know you're doing it, which you seem to do rather often on here.

Actually, I think the most important factor in deciding to read a long post is who wrote it. You get a feeling for whose post you care to read, and whose posts you'll skip if they seem boring. Also, most people will glance at the very top of the post, so the first few lines are important.
Another important factor is if the post is comfortable to read. Many things makes posts hard work to get through, such as cramping them (no space), bad language, or endless sentences. Of course, it can also be the opposite way; f.eks linkzelda uses about 80 - 90 % too many line-breaks, in my opinion.
I agree, and yeah link has so many line breaks his posts look about 3x as long as they should. But that also makes them easier to read, so idk.
(I said that in my original post before deleting so much of it, but I'm not sure how link got it. I just got really frustrated last night realizing the post was so long and people would just be annoyed at me, and came on here about to delete the bit I left, but now I regret it because I spent so long on it and it's just gone.)

Rant: FUCK I'm so fucking tired and pissed off. I got my boyfriend to wake me up by phoning me at 12 and to keep calling every couple minutes until I actually answer / go online. I get him to do this often, but not the calling back part, and usually if I haven't gotten enough sleep yet I'll just press 'end call' and go back to sleep but this time I couldn't. I stayed up until 7 last night so I got like 5 hours of sleep.
I hate everything, every little thing that bothers me a bit escalates until it infuriates me, even typing this post, OCD and shit, keep running into little problems and getting so pissed off if i make a typo or something. I needed to wake up this early but can't stand what it's doing. Just this day of hell and hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to wake up early and get a good amount of sleep.
