YESS... regarding my previous rant... we're going to Vancouver anyways to do some shopping and sightseeing... and then we're off to LOS ANGELES for a week! Holy shit! :yumdumdoodledum:

We went to Minneapolis for a week this summer, and passed a roadkill beaver, a roadkill deer, and two roadkill skunks on the 6-hour drive there. They were all on the SIDE of the road, out of the way from speeding vehicles. My question was, "how did they get run over and flattened if they were on the side of the road like that?"

My rant is that Tiny is missing. 3 of her little ones are barely hanging on. They wont drink from a bottle. As a last ditch effort to save then, I placed their box outside near the dogs. It's my hope that Tiny will hear them and finally take care of them, or one of my other 2 females will adopt them (Buttercup is known for kidnapping the kittens of others). The dogs and cats get along, so the dogs will keep predators away. And if the babies don't make it, at least I wont have to hear them cry anymore :( That's rotten, I know, but I can do nothing more.

So, I gave them a bath. I've never seen such little creatures so infested with fleas. They're too young to poison, so I may resort to vinegar.
I locked Tiny in our Kitchen's "Island" cabinets, with her kittens, for a couple of hours. When I finally let her out, she seemed interested in her young again. I rewarded her by pouring canned oysters over her dry food.

Trying to download Win 7 service pack 1. Hit download, stop paying attention, look back after like 2 hours. Only 20% done, wtf? Yeah, turn outs that damn thing is 1.9GB's. like really? the OS isn't even that freaking large! (for the record, we have stupid slow internet, and not helping that other computers are sucking up bandwidth)

My cot is not going to work out. I kept waking up every 3 or so hours, so I finally laid my air mattress back down and slept just fine. I'll either take it back and get my $44. back, or let my daughter,Zee, use it for when her friend stays over.
I also went to the Court House and talked to a Circuit Court Clerk about my son staying with his father... well, because custody was never established, I would have to buy an $12. packet to fill out and send to the court for an additional $150. plus whatever the Court ended up charging just to be able to let my son stay with his father. So, that's not going to happen. I filed one of those things for my divorce from his father. The process took 6 months. Needless to say, my dear son has to come home.
Only, he says he'll be moving in with his brother at the Farm because he doesn't want to be near his sister for fear she'll accuse him of molestation next.
And when I woke up at around 2:30PM I got a call from the Sheriffs Dept asking when I can bring my 18 year old son in. So, I have to drive all the way to the Farm, back to town so my son can pick up a phone number (WTH?!) then drive him back to the Farm (almost $30. in gas). The number is for a shrink. Then the cop asked if I would be able to drive him to the appointments in a town 2 hours away. I said it would not be possible because my car is on the last legs of its life and it's been hard enough getting to the Farm once a week. He told me to still bring him in and he'll see what they can work out for transportation.
My other daughter is set up to have an off campus visit on Saturday, but only for 6 hours instead of 8 for some reason.
*sigh*
My bathtub is so skanky I can't take a bath until my daughter cleans it (she messed it up); I missed my p-doc appointment because it was yesterday (I thought it was today) so I rescheduled it for Friday... I have to keep locking the cat up with her babies so she'll feed them... Zee has such a bad sore throat I'll have to take her to the Dr. if it doesn't clear up on it's own (or if it gets worse) by Friday. Her tonsils are swollen and she has white pocks on them. I had a really bad sore throat for several days so she may have what I did. Only, she's not running a fever and I had a small one.
