Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

One of those days where I'm questioning the existence of existence itself.

WHY ARE WE NOT ALL THINKING ABOUT THIS ALL OF THE TIME?! It's so fascinating.

I was doing an order at work and when I went to grab another skid of boxes, they couldn't find the one I needed. I had to go back and pull out all the ones I already did but we were short two boxes. I checked everywhere and I couldn't find them, so I got chewed out for it. If I had been given the right order in the first place, we wouldn't have had that problem. >_>

And when I was pulling the boxes back out, I took a little longer than I should have to find them (they're on a platform, stacked as if you were playing 3D Tetris), like a few extra seconds here and there. Normally, that would have gone unnoticed but E (the Asian women in charge of orders that I mentioned in an earlier post) was already annoyed so she kind of made a bigger deal out of it than she should have. And when I was checking a certain skid/platform for my boxes, I couldn't find them on there. I even had someone else help me take off all the boxes from the skid and help me double check, and they weren't there. A while later E came back and told me the boxes were found on that skid and gave me this look that sort of said "How can a retard like you even remember to breathe?" Those boxes weren't there when I checked, the guy pulling the platform out temporarily moved them for whatever reason and put them back on later. Not at all my fault, but I still got berated for it. <_<

I made a few mistakes this week but no more than anyone else, E's kids included. The only difference is that since I'm the new guy, they noticed my screw ups more. Now they think I'm slow and there's a chance I could get fired if I make any more mistakes. But what the hell did the supervisor expect, hiring me during the busiest week of the season? Even the experienced workers were having a hard time with those orders.

I'm going to try and look around for other job opportunities and then quit this one when I get the ok from a new employer. I'd much rather work a night shift as a custodian than be the warehouse retard.

My rant is as follows: I'm living in an 8 by 10 room with 2 people. One whom i work with 5 days a week for a minimum of 12 hours thats if shift change is smooth. Then i see these peolpe when im off. They have a bad attitude and one of them screws up all the time and could hurt some one at work. The other person works with at the same spot just day shift so now i gotta spend my day off with him and if he is sleeping i cant do shit since im night shift.

Also i keep shooting at people in battlefield 3 from like 4 feet with a sniper rifle with iron sights and it doesnt fuckin hit em. They are not moving and there is no lag.

I miss my wife and wont get to see her for 4 more months.
I cant wank off cause there is always some one in the room.
Its hot at 3 in the morning
like 100+ degrees F
and at least 80% humidity
I sweat balls standing still, i cant make much progress with lucids cause of sleep crazyness

People notice when you fuck up, but don't even think about it when you do the correct thing.
I've fucked up a lot at my work but as a percentage of the times I've done a task, it's easily less than 1% that I fuck up.

It's just the way most people think. They don't think to themselves "Oh, he's doing really well today!"
But if you fuck up a few times over a couple of months "Damn that kid is a moron, always fucking up!"

Good luck with looking for another job! Hopefully you can get some good references even with your shitty boss.

It's always the most incompetent, that jump at the opportunity of one's mistake, in order to compensate for their own stupidity.

I woke up on Friday at 1PM and I've not been to sleep (real sleep) yet. I visited my girls today and it went well enough. Zee's still overly emotional (expectantly so) but seems MUCH better.
Destinee, however... after Zee, we went to McD's parking lot so she could access the internet. We were there from 12:30 until 2:30 lol. My car was idling with the AC on most of the time. And I tried to nap. But I was in that sort of in between place the entire time (about an hour or less). I was aware that Sis (Destinee) was upset and ranting about her Foster Mom and DHHR Case Worker and I responded appropriately (comforting, empathizing, encouraging) but I have very little memories of that time

I popped caffeine, dropped her off, headed home and now I don't want to sleep So I took another caffeine about 3 hours ago.
Why do I always do this?

I think my finger shall soon morph into a crocheting hook. When I'm NOT crocheting, I feel weird... kinda like people who are used to holding pencils or cigarettes. And speaking of smokes... I'm "smoking" much more. Only, the ashtray smokes most of it for me so I light up quicker than usual.
I have $50. for food and supplies this week, so I'm thinking about getting cartridges for my e-cigarette instead.

But, I finished my blanket and have started a new one for Sis.
The one I just made has such a tight stitch it would be good for a kitchen mat or rug. It's VERY warm

I cant stand my step-mom i wish JUST disappear! shes the devil. I made a rage thread in senseless banter.

I had a step dad but I called him dad because he came into my life when I was about 2 or 3 years old. He adopted me and I didn't meet my bio-dad until I found him when I was around 20 years old.
I also have a step daughter and step son. But the son is almost my age lol and he's never been around (college in another state then moved to other states). I love my step-daughter to pieces though. She's in college now so I rarely see her anymore

My rant is that I think I have- of all things- a caffeine hang over lol. I woke up with a dreadful headache. But I got almost 12 hours of UNINTERRUPTED sleep My cellphone ended up waking me or I probably would have slept even longer.
The only dream I even partially recall was of being on the computer but my keyboard was broken and typing different letters than I pushed. Yeah. I missed an opportunity to lucid dream lol

My nose and ears are clogged and my throat's a little sore from post nasal drip. I may have to break down and see a doctor yet before I end up going deaf

I sold my iMac to my mum a while ago, and she still hasn't paid me. And by a while ago I mean 4 months ago.
I said she could just have it, don't worry about it. But she insisted she'll pay.

So I was expecting she'll do it soon, since I've asked 10 times or more.
I had the monthly payment to the Red Cross coming up and needed to by new e-cigarette stuff, which I've been putting off coz I had no money in my account.
So I'm buying e-cig stuff today finally, money still isn't in there so I ring her up and she says I can use her card etc.
But I also see my account has been overdrawn! FUCK!
Red Cross took the money out even though I didn't have anything in there!
Now I'm going to get a massive overdrawn fee and my e-cig stuff probably won't get here before my current e-juice runs out.
I really don't want to go back to normal cigarettes. They make me feel like shit now.

Obligatory "I'm paying thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours for an education" complaint. I go back Monday, 6 full days left...

If it weren't for the money, I wouldn't be complaining at all. I like learning, I just don't like that I'm still paying thousands, even though in high school I was a "good" student (whatever the hell that means). I know some kids are paying more than me because they didn't qualify for GPA/merit/ACT score scholarships, but there are also some kids who have EVERYTHING paid, and they spend all their time slacking and drinking and getting high.

Plus, all the "little" fees here and there; renting books online, parking fees (because even though tuition is the price of a car, you still have to pay to PARK a car for the year.)

WHY DO I ALWAYS WANT SOMEONE I CAN'T HAVE???!

Yesterday I went out to the local city with my cousin and god she had the most beautiful friends, I wish I could have said something, anything for that matter but they only spoke Italian . Irt was such a shame to let that opportunity wasted.

So when I bought my Wacom Bamboo Create and wanted to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 last night, I couldn't find the pencil tool. I started to worry that this was some kind of defect version (not the tablet that came with a full version of Photoshop Elements 9), and even started googling "how to find pencil in photoshope cs5." I couldn't find an answer and just had a mental solution, "F it, I'll just use GIMP instead."

Then I wake up (right now) after a few hours of sleep, decided to click on it again just to check something, and I right click on the Brush Tool......there's the pencil.



I am such an idiot..............what's worse is that I even watched a YouTube video to know the basic tools in Photoshop as well....lmao....why is it whenever it's Photoshop, it's suddenly a bunch of hieroglyphics and jargon??

I guess everyone has some learning curve. Now to go back to sleep.....and about that....I just know that if I do a mental anchor to keep myself aware, I might just pass out, unless I get lucky where I do King Yoshi's flex freeze technique (that actually worked a few times, but I was just lucky to have woken up during the end or onset of a REM cycle)....but chances of that happening are slim.

Maybe I should stop giving a crap with trying so hard and do the Actor's Technique and be really cocky. Yeah I think I'll do that.

Hahaha, darn pesky pencil hieroglyphics. Photoshop is actually quite easy, not much of a learning curve. Btw how much have you tried with your wacom, I really love mine, it makes Photoshop and blender work time so much smoother and quicker

I got it yesterday from UPS delivery, but I started doing a random sketch of myself (after a few hours of using stick figure models and then scribbling to build a form). I'm glad I bought it, I just have to be really careful and make sure nothing gets on it as well, might have to invest in a screen protector to reduce the nib wear on the pen too.

Today was the first day of school. Oh my god it was terrible. I only had 3 classes today but it felt like forever. My textbook hasn't arrived yet for my AP World History class and my teacher got all pissed. -.- I got placed in the wrong math class so I had to sit in a hot room for 90 minutes with 30 other kids who didn't care at all about their grades and we were put into small groups and we each had to introduce ourselves and say one activity we like to do. This one kid who had his pants sagging really low says "I like ta partay with my negro bitches." I wanted to punch him so hard, and everyone else in there. Ugh, I got a schedule change right after that class. THANK GOD. I never want to go back there ever again. I was also dressed in all black and had to walk home. NEVER AGAIN. I almost passed out in the middle of the street, it was so hot. Today was just SO great. -___-

I also came up with a cool idea. It seemed awesome in the dream, and I was sad that someone else had made it before, because I'd thought about making the same thing.
Then I woke up after this dream and realised I could probably make it lol
It most likely won't work as well in the dream (since it's physically impossible) but if I flesh it out a bit I think it will still be really cool.

Me too. It's OK: it means we're learning something!

I am SO glad I don't have to worry ANYTHING about school anymore. I hated school, personally, and I hated having to wake my kids up so darn early in the morning lol

My rant is dry eyes and a very low grade migraine. This migraine has been creeping up on me for the past several hours. It started out because of stupid poor posture and a pain at the back of my neck... but now it's also behind my eyes and the lights and movement make it worse. It's hard for me to even focus on crocheting. I know I shouldn't bother with it right now, but I've not been crocheting as much lately and I want to make some head way on my daughter's blanket.
I have to actually count the stitches and watch stitch placement for hers because I'm doing an alternating rib pattern. It's 300 chains long so it's more tedious than the blanket I made for myself at only 136 chains.

Ugh... I feel like barfing but I do NOT want to go to sleep. I woke up at 4 this afternoon after 13 hours of straight sleep...

My rant is that it's MUCH too quiet here now. CURSE you school

My real rant is also a rave. My son called out to me last night to come look at something in the living room. I thought to myself "I'm going to beat that boy if he's just going to show me another bug" And sure enough, he wanted me to look at a spider.
But this sucker wasn't just any spider. It was a tarantula sized Wolf Spider carrying either an egg sac or a web encased carcass. It was at the top of a sheet we use as a curtain. I braved getting a couple pictures of it on my DSi, but when I moved in for a head shot, she dropped.
I quickly escaped to the safety of my bedroom lol but my son captured it and released it outside.

Including its legs, it was the size of the palm of my hand and I have large hands for a woman. *shivers*

I also haven't been to sleep yet. I've been on all the Facebook accounts I can access (about 6 in all) to send myself farmville and chef ville gifts.
I stopped working on Sis' blanket for now and I'm making mine a bit longer...
Other than that, it's nice and quiet in my neck of the woods (for a change).
