I've been voicing my opinion on how utterly fucked up the way we work is.... for example, if we all worked half as much, but were guaranteed a liveable wage, there would be no person out of work. Homelessness could be fixed overnight (short time anyway). But it just doesn't happen because we have this culture that work is good for the soul or some bullshit. And the rich think they need the poor.
Anyway, I just found last night, this essay by Bertrand Russell

Why do we not listen to our greatest minds when it comes to social and political matters? They're obviously the best people to deal with it.
