For those who have no idea what the hell a solanaceous plant is, they include datura, brugmansia, belladonna, henbane, mandrake, and all types of tobacco.... Also, petunias, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, and chili peppers, but those aren't psychoactive. :P They all kill you in pretty terrible ways if you overdose on them and they all take a heavy toll on your mind if you use them too much (especially the tropane-containing ones, which can easily drive you insane), but their effects are just so satisfying.... (In my opinion, anyway.) I just read about tree tobacco, or Nicotiana glauca. It wasn't bad enough that I don't smoke anymore anyway, life just had to throw this one in my face. :madtongue: Its main chemical constituent is anabasine rather than nicotine, but it works on the same receptors. It's apparently more of a downer nicotine that lasts longer and is more stoning, from the very small amounts of reports I could find, and possibly more hallucinogenic, while still somehow definitely feeling like it's in the same class of drugs as nicotine. Most websites claim that it "was considered the most powerful of the Nicotiana species." (Even stronger than Nicotiana rustica? One cigarette of that stuff was like ten normal cigarettes in one with a shamanic edge....)
How am I supposed to live without experiencing these wonderful plants, especially this new "strongest" tobacco?
