Visiting my girlfriend's parents in Toronto at the moment, last night we were at a pub for dinner and I wanted a whisky to drink. I asked the waitress which Scotch they had (yes, I used the americanism!) and she said "glencairn, glenfiddich, glenmorangie... All the glens..." and I laughed cause I thought she was joking. She wasn't. Kinda embarassing and I'm pretty sure she hated me from then on. Also I guess it's kinda pretentious to order scotch.

This is a kinda pathetic rant compared to all the serious ones before, but I felt like sharing. Also this kind of social humiliation is the worst kind of torture to me so I guess it counts

So I woke up and my brother, sister and mother were sitting at the table talking.
I went to get some muesli and I'm like "FUCK! No rice milk left!" and my sister's like "You could have gone and gone some yessssterday" (Ophelia's bitch accent for emphasis )
And I'm like "Well I didn't fucking realise yesterday did I?" And my mum said "I think he was cursing to the stars, the universe, not any one here for not getting any".
Then I said that I never curse the universe. I was instantly reminded of a dream from last night, and I say "I had this dream last night where I was driving along and
looking at these shooting stars on the horizon, changing colours occasionally" everyone sort've looks down slightly "and then I was driving past this street" everyone starts getting up and walking away
"...."

Fuck I hate passivity.... If you don't wanna hear my awesome dreams, I don't give a fuck, I'd rather you not be graced by their beauty, even if it is just my pathetic attempt to capture their essence in the English language. Just tell me it's not interesting!

It pisses me off too how people always act so awkward when I try to explain a cool dream. Why is it such a taboo?

Anyway, I'm still sorta freaking the hell out. Only now I don't really have a reason. I think it just might be the leftover crap from today, and all that it gonna be happening in a very short while. *sigh* Stupid computers and their constant need of certification to show I know how to press a button.

Feel better, OldSparta. If it's for no reason then it probably is just residual, just try to ignore it so it doesn't resurface. I'm coming down from some anxiety myself right now. To make a long story short most of mine these days center around feeling like I'm about to have a heart attack, so... yeah. :/ It's because I ate some bacon with dinner, greasy food has a tendency to set me off.

But it tastes so good!

It does! lol, and Don't worry about it, it's only bacon. If you are worried about it, you can always go for a jog/walk.

Yeah, I know. But ya know, things can get kind of out of hand if you don't catch the anxiety early enough lol. I need to go on that walk though, it's just cold and dark and wet here right now. :T Maybe I'll just walk around the house a bit....

God I had a horrible night tonight.

It seemed to be going okay, although I had irregular, little sleep and almost nothing to eat while driving a friend over to downtown San Francisco so we could both hang out with some other friends there. This was most likely stupid mistake #1: driving him downtown, and without a GPS. I was getting exhausted and panicked once we finally parked, but I had a good dinner and everything, calmed down and enjoyed myself. Then I decided to leave early, alone, because my mom wanted me to come home soon. Stupid mistake #2. I got really scared walking alone, because it definitely looked shady around there, and not too many people around. Walked, sometimes ran around the maze of blocks because I lost my way and couldn't find the way back to my car. It was like a waking nightmare, so I went to a fancy looking hotel entrance and told them to help me find my car. It was behind the block to the right, so THANK GOD I found my car (with the valet's help). Safety at last. Or so I thought.

I got on the road kind of speedily and was determined to find the freeway back home, rattled and still a bit creeped out, wanting to cry it out a bit along the way, but I kept running through yellow lights (stupid mistake #3) on the intersections and got T-boned by another car. First accident I've been in, by myself. Ambulance and police came immediately, though I wasn't hurt, my car got pretty beat up and I parked on the wide sidewalk next to the road. I thought to myself, this is still going downhill, what's gonna happen to me next? But that was the climax of this horrible evening/night. My car and I got towed back home after exchanging insurance info blah blah blah.

Gotta rest now. I feel horrible and ashamed, but at least I'm alive and not hurt.

I don't understand what's wrong with your natural blonde color, other than using the bleached hair to try and make yourself stand out (but that makes your facial features stand out as well, which may not be pleasing to the males' overdose with hormones here at the University).

Unless someone can make finding WORTHWHILE shit easier on the internet, the next generation is royally FUCKED.

A group-mate and I had to find an article that relates to the essay, "Why Do People Vote Republican?" But if you type in "Republican" in any search engine, you get 5 BILLION articles that all say the SAME EXACT SHIT. "Newt Gingrich is up in the polls, yada yada yada Mitt Romney."

It took us over an HOUR, or two man-hours, since there were two of us, to find a fucking REMOTELY relevant article. And the article isn't even that good.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX THE INTERNET: It's FILLED WITH USELESS SHIT!

This is exactly why I don't want goggle to integrate all their services. Coz the search results you get are going to be filtered through based on all your other activity on their products.

I haven't been having a very good day... ;(
I have a 9-page essay and nine sketchbook drawings (that take upwards of 3 hours each to do) to do by next Wednesday, my art teacher keeps insisting on me making a painting or some stupid photography project for my portfolio... for visual effects school, which doesn't give a crap about that kind of stuff... Oh, and my aunt is in the hospital. My uncle passed away not even a year ago and now I'm really scared we'll be losing her too. I learned that this morning, and along with the schoolwork (I also couldn't follow what we were learning in pre-cal today), my day has been so stressful... I broke down and started crying in the middle of class... I had to leave.

My dad took me to subway for dinner; as we were leaving the restaurant, some fucking asshole of a driver turned and sped into the parking lot, stopping only after he BARELY fucking touches my hip with the front of his car. He turned so sharply and I stopped, but I had no time to actually back up before he almost rammed into me. If he hadn't actually paid attention in that last minute, I would've gotten run over. I swore at him in front of my dad and I couldn't get into the car, I was shaking so badly. My heart felt like it had jumped out of my ribcage and it hurt.

I was planning on seeing a movie with my mom today, but now I will be spending some hours at the hospital.

And I'm drowning in homework.

Sounds like you had a similar night to mine last night, except for the schoolwork part. I remember drowning in schoolwork and crying in the middle of class as well. Perhaps you could talk to a school counselor about what you're going through, and get some help at least.
