I just tarted watching Game of Thrones because you recommended it. It's an amazingly beautiful show - looks more like a big budget movie. But man, already 2 decapitations in the 1st episode..

Not exactly a rave, but my first experience of the New Year was fortuitous. I lost my only worthwhile earbuds over Christmas at my mom's place (one state over), and am still waiting on some replacements. I thought I'd probably left them out while young kids were tearing around with minimal supervision. Last night (NYE) it was pretty nice out and I wasn't partying too far from home, so I was planning on walking home, about a 25 minute walk.

As I left the bar, I thought, "Wish I had my headphones. Wouldn't it be great if I reached into my pocket and they were... Yahtzee!" They'd been in the breast pocket of my coat the whole time.

A friend was willing to buy me a train ticket to London for a new year party he wanted me at - almost 100 dollars- and I turned him down to hang out with people I didn't like as much.

I want to buy a pink 3DS but I can't find one anywhere. Canada is annoying. I know the colour doesn't really matter lol but still.

It kind of sucks to know the history of his wives already, because I know what's going to happen. Watching Anne's fall was just painful.

Rant..... yes. I feel like drinking but I can't. I will tomorrow. The break has gone by way too quickly and I already start school in 4 days. I was so self-conscious about posting my picture, I finally started posting more, and now I'm getting shit for "trying too hard" whatever the fuck that means. Maybe my natural facial expression just looks unnatural. And why does every fucking person seem to want me to 'smile'? Am I the only person in the world who can't just smile on command and make it look genuine? Why do people even like that? I have no desire to see someone smiling when it isn't natural, but apparently most people don't give a fuck what's going on in your head, they just want you to look like you're having fun all the time. If that's what people want I suppose I'll stop posting pictures. This ALWAYS fucking happens to me. I'm paranoid about something happening, finally ease off a bit and stop being paranoid, then the thing I was fearing happens. Then I think, wow, I should have been paranoid the whole time...

Why pay attention to the one known troll guy who gives you shit rather than the half dozen who complimented you--some at great length--on the same pic?

Yeah I agree, that pic was good. A couple of the others did look too serious though. Like you were purposely trying not to smile or something.

I am grateful for the compliments, I was just focusing on that comment for the moment. I did type more to my response in that thread before, but erased it. I figure I should know what exactly he means by trying too hard so that I can determine whether or not he's right. In a way, I agree. I mean, if I'm taking a picture to post publicly, I'm going to try to look good in it, but I don't try that hard.

But no, I've never tried not to smile in a picture. Usually (for group photos and stuff) it's the opposite. I have to force myself to smile and hate doing it because I know it's fake. Being aware of the camera might make my facial expression different, but I really don't know. In person, I come across as serious. It isn't uncommon that people in real life tell me to smile, because it seems I'm incapable of it, since I rarely do. But I don't try to act serious, I'm just like that naturally for some reason. The only time I find myself trying not to smile is while on a webcam or something. I was doing this group webcam thing yesterday and when I turned it on, the first thing someone said to me was that I have a nice smile. But that was only because it was genuine.

He was trolling. He wanted attention on the internet, so he said something negative and contrarian (the opposite of what everyone else was saying) to provoke a response.

I'd only consider it trolling if he doesn't believe what he says himself.

I'm seriously annoyed McDonalds offers peppermint mocha coffee. Like SERIOUSLY? Who wants to have that menthol'ness in their hot coffee.
