Exactly, I had a conversation with a man who's family is basically rich. He told me a story about a girl who was very intelligent was enticed by her friends telling her stories on how much they would have sex. And they would compel her to get her virginity taken away.

Who gives a fuck if you're a virgin? (no pun intended) Really. It doesn't matter, you shouldn't care. If other people make fun of you or whatever for it, who cares. It's your life. Don't have sex, just to have sex, try to find a relationship. An actual relationship, and that will build up to it. If people look down on your for not having sex, why does it matter? Who cares what they think about you, and sex for personal gratification, if you "had sex just to have sex" then what's the point, really? The right time will come for it, of course, but don't feel rushed or anything, just be yourself and don't change for the better of others in such a way.

You know what, I haven't vented in a long time.
I realized that most of peoples problems these days have to do with relationships and sex problems. Holy fuckingshit I remember when I was younger and wanted to be a successful and intelligent engineer and BAM a few years later all I care about is "cock cock cock I'm a slut I'm a slut black guys are hot". I mean, what the hell brain? What happened to my innocence?

So I've broken up with my bf that I've had for 8 years, basically, unless he decides to rethink all these rules he's been imposing on me. I don't know how I've done it.

I suppose I did go slightly insane. I think it's over now, but if it wasn't I guess I probably wouldn't know.

Now I just feel really fucking lonely. I just need to get past this somehow and keep a sane mind and not kill myself or anything stupid like that. And I want to LD again.

I've only gotten 1 insane 1-line email from my bf, and haven't heard from him in 2 days. He's probably trying to make me think he's dead again, so that I give in and come back to him and beg for his forgiveness. It's taking all that I have not to do that, and I don't know how much longer I can keep it up.

I ended an oppressive relationship a few days ago and I can imagine how you feel. Don't judge yourself severely this time. These controlling types try what not to make you feel guilty. They always require, always misinterpret words and actions, always suspect. A person can love when s/he is feels free. And every one deserves his personal space and interests.

My rant is that my hubby is cutting my allowance. Really?! Ughhhhh!! He picked the worlds worst time to do so too. I need to pick up my iPad from the Pawn shop by the 5th or I'll lose it. AND, I JUST worked out a budget for the first time since forever and I was beginning to feel a little confident.
I'm going to have to have a long chat with him about this. Hopefully, I can get him to change his mind. He'll grumble though either way lol

Other than that, it's been a lazy day. I haven't been sleeping very well, but I should be used to that by now.

I'll add onto that, "Fuck religion that is externalized and franchised." When it's not part of an establishment, internalized, personal religion helps people better themselves for the most part. (You could also add "Fuck egoistical religion.") I love belief systems, especially when they are applied and personalized, but I dislike establishment forms of religion. Not all religious people are bad!

I'd like to point out that this thread kind of initiated the mental process that led to me making the decision. What really pushed me all the way though was talking to someone about it. Since I had brought it up on this thread, I stopped caring about hiding the issue, so when a Steam friend asked me why I couldn't join his L4D game I just told him the truth. Then he tried to talk sense into me and started a Steam voice chat thing, which was scary for me. I'm not used to talking about the issue to anyone, never mind through voice. But after a few minutes I got used to it and was talking more freely. We talked for like 2 hours and went over all of my issues with leaving my bf and why I felt I needed to stay with him. I can't believe someone would actually do that, and I feel like I have a real friend now for the first time ever.

I just wish that things would stay settled. Now the guy who I was temporarily 'with' before I can tell is getting upset because I've left my bf but don't seem to be making any move to be with him again. I honestly don't want to. I want to be single for a bit. I don't like him anymore, I've realized the only reason I did before was because he liked me. We didn't actually mentally 'click' at all. But I can tell he's going to be depressed now and I'm going to feel like shit about it.

Now I'm just trying to stop drinking so much. As soon as I was 'allowed' to again I kind of started going crazy. Alcohol costs way too much here, and if I keep drinking 3 beers a day I'll start gaining weight. If nothing else I need to switch to some less calorie-filled alcohol. I actually went to class on Thursday with a coffee cup full of cider lol. I wasn't inebriated enough to fail at paying attention in class, so it was fun.

And Zhaylin... you don't want to know what I think, lol.

A second classmate of mine died this month, this morning in a car accident...

This is terrible... my graduating class was small, everyone knew everyone. Just awful... both of them were really nice guys.

He was in a few of my classes, one of those "talk in class because you're bored" acquaintanceships. It's just been a bad month; one of my college classmates died, too, and two of my high school classmates. (Although I didn't know the college classmate, we have about 800 students in our year.) Messed up.

That's a really huge change Dianeva, I hope you feel alright. Just promise to stay on DV if anything does get out of control, I think it's clear you need an outlet and some people to talk to freely.

Since the two no-shows yesterday, I have not been able to contact my brother. Not sure if he's dead, in the hospital, jail, or what. As for the other, fuck him; I couldn't care less...

I absolutely fucking hate it when people don't respond...ESPECIALLY when they say that they are coming over in an hour, then no-show, no-answer, nothing. Is it too much to ask for a simple text/call or something to say that something came up that requires their attention?
