      Holy
      fucking
      shit

That's some creepy stuff. Seriously... whether it's true or not, it gives me chills just to read that something like that could be possible. I wonder, if you guys had the ability to go back in time, would you tell anyone? Would you try and stop major things from happening?

Wow... I'm all creeped out now. Thanks, Kaniaz.

Boo! You guys stink! I'm sure it is a hoax, but still. Just think if it were real, if something like that could really happen. Who knows? Maybe it can and none of us believe it. Anything is possible.

Besides... I want to travel in time to steal Bill Gates' brain (maybe introduce my foot to his ass while I'm there) and you guys are cramping my style. This guy gave me hope. *sniffle* *sob*

well that's certainly possible. the closer one is to a large mass, the slower time moves, relative to that person. if one were to journey into the centre of a black hole (with infinite mass for this example), although relative to that person mere seconds would pass, in actuality, all eternity would actually pass. neat eh?

wow that is pretty heavy, but u know what else is cool? if you were getting "sucked" into a black whole and u could see a space ship floating off in the distance through your lil port hole there is no way they could see u b/c all the light reflecting off you and your ship would get sucked into the black hole instead of traveling to their eyes. i thought thats pretty cool too.

ohh yeah that john thing is so faulty. i mean come on did u see the pics of his time machine, it had X ray vents, u don't vent X rays! plus how would it be possible to go back into time anyway? i think you can travel into the future if u are contained in somthing that is going faster than the speed of light, atleast i think thats how it works?

Haven't we already started a civil war of sorts in the thread that I hijacked? (Can I say that word without this page being flagged by the Feds?) Paranoia... setting... in... eeeep!

Before eating anymore meat you have to read this!

      p.s. I am now offically a vegetarian.

Yes, and people are still dying and a great deal of them are passing from CJD. As I said, with my very first few posts almost 6 months ago, I want to emphasize how devastating this will be. I believe two people are confirmed dead in Colorado from CDJ from surgical instruments. Ahhhh, the power of cheese. Milk does a body good and beef is what's for dinner!

Me: "No, I have not tried any fast food. Thinking about where the food came from, how it was shipped and treated absolutely terrifies me. I have tried to tell people about CJD disease and it seems to be "catching on" in Europe."

Me: Do not eat or use products from any animal that is fed and eats parts of its own dead.

Me: The "Mad Cow" story here is yet to begin...

HOST: John warned about CJD and Mad Cow disease before he left. Now the news is echoing John's statements.

In Jan 29, 2001 John said:
"I get no pleasure out of being right when it comes to CJD disease, war in the Middle East or suffering people in far away lands. There's nothing like the look on someone's face when you tell them 100,000 people will be dead tomorrow. "

Black holes are cool, but I've read that you can create a worm hole and place one end near a neutron star.
That end will then begin move forward in time. After it has moved far enough forward, you move it to a safer point in space and voila, you have a time machine!

You can visit the future and people in the future can visit the past.
Of course, you've got to be REALLY small to fit through a wormhole

Isn't that part of the beauty of black holes / worm holes, however? The elegant nature of infinity, and singularities in space... I always thought you'd get "sucked into" a black hole... Your decreasing size wouldn't matter in relation to the black hole; at any point, you should still be the same size... Iunno.. nm. Crazy thoughts.

All this future stuff... Well Sure, you could do that. But how would you go back? Too bad there's not some reverse to speeding up, something like Ultra slowing down... (So you can go back in time). I bet there's a way.

A chance is the multi-universe theory... Each one have a small quantum 'mutation' so to speak. Then we should be able to go to any universe, any of the many that would fit our criteria..

Quantum computing. woo. <-- I built one 'them once.

All my knowledge is cluttered and wrong. These things aren't even right. Now I gotta read my books again.

      eh, bye dreamviews

i have some serious misgivings regarding any theories that provide "an opportunity" to visit the past. i truly believe that to be impossible. regardless, anyone who is at all familiar with the butterfly effect would have no doubt that that would drastically and irrevocably alter the future. i love how ignorant mr. titor was when he concluded all those who feel visiting the past would harm the future are wrong. that ended any skepticism i was feeling, and immediately allowed me to dismiss him as a sad, pathetic scammer. it doesn't matter how little his perceived effect was on the timeline, no matter what he did, there would be unforeseen ramifications that would seriously alter the events that would have otherwise transpired w/o his presence. of course, those familiar with the butterfly effect know this already. btw, isn't there a movie coming out entitled that?

The bugger there is you'd be stretched, torn apart, and mixed into Human soup. So when you came out the other side, you'd be no more than mixed eyeballs with flesh and brain, really.

And to create a wormhole, you'd need more energy than the entire universe has. And you can't create more energy, just convert it from one form to another.
