Can you guys please vote for MGMT? It's a survey from my uni asking who we want to see this spring.

You need to learn to live your own life in university. Not rely on us to do (and thus become through womanly wiles) your sociology assignment and vote for your favourite bubblegum band.

I'm spending my vote on getting you Owl City.

Because I want to teach you a valuable lesson about life. And because over the internet I cannot hit a woman. So I have to resort to more abstract teaching methods.

This entire list is absolutely revolting. My vote for +$20: Radiohead. One of the only bands I would consider paying large sums of money to see. I approve of your choice of MGMT however, given the those horrific options ; D

If I were you I would think about doing a 4chan and getting lots of votes for some weird band in the Other section, but that might be cut out anyway if they thought it suspect. You'd need to do it carefully, or perhaps make a convincing ad campaign at your school.

You guys are absolutely right, all the bands suck. It's quite disappointing, they had an initial survey which had a few decent bands (such as Ratatat) but all of them got eliminated on the second survey.

Those choices are really all terrible. I agree with the opinions thus far.

MGMT are kinda acceptable, BUT don't get your expectations up too high, they're not very good live.
(Unless they improved in the last couple of years..)

Anyways, I voted for 'em.
