Working on a DV game

That's a good idea. There are always different worlds in mario games. That would be a great one. If you wanted it to be a straight up parody, an internet world where goombas are trolls and the hammer throwing guys are mods tossing banhammers and such would work as well. I'm not sure if that's what you are going for, though.

I was also a bit surprised when i saw that there was no dream world.

Being a proud scot, I would like a scottish world, which I think I mentioned in chat before. But if we can't have that, I'd go with the "Mountains World", because it's probably about as close I'd get.

Maybe an enemy can be a drunk, shirtless, red haired fat sheepherder wearing a wool lined kilt, (traditional!) named Mc'mcenburg and wielding a broadsword in one hand and a half eaten haggus in the other. Ready to brawl at any time like any good celt, of course. Perhaps Mario provokes him when Mario picks up one of his coins, thus sending him into a miserly rage. And his battle cry is the most uninteligible gibberish possible. Make him really bodgy, of course. Barmy, as well. These are true of every single Scottish person ever. People will rerspect your authenticity.

Also, there are going to be a lot of people wanting to be featured, so be careful.

EDIT: Actually, I could try to do some pixeling. I'm not promising anything, though.

Here is what a level looks like if anyone wants to draw some up for me. This is a small level, they can be any size. This one is grid based, but I can have convex freeform too.

Whoever recognized this level gets a cookie

Drawing it with pencil and labeling parts will be sufficient. I just didi it this way cause I built in the ability to render the whole level at once

Scot world would be pretty fun. Or else just a Scotland-ish level. I've got lots of Scottish ancestry- so it would be fun to see. Seems like a ~~bodgy~~ cool place, if I never get a chance to visit in in RL at least I can visit it in a platformer.

I have a challenge for all you Photoshop experts. These characters are way to small and I need them increased in size by at least 400%, 800% preferably. Just scaling wont cut it because then they get blurry.

And I also need images of the character from the front and back, which I don't have
