Thumbs up Never had a Lucid Dream before. Curious noob with question.

So, after watching 'Inception' I've been really curious about Lucid dreams and all that.
So why not try it, right?

The thing is; How real is a Lucid dream, is it like RL?
      You can smell?
      You can breath?
      You can FEEL?
Can you speak with people like you do in RL?
Everything real is in a lucid dream.

Is it like 'Inception'? xD That real.

I may sound dumb, but I've never had a lucid ream, it just sound.... crazy.

Yes and no. It's a dream if you see through one point of view, but somethings can be real if you see through another (check Beyond Dreaming section).
No. Inception is a movie and a representation made by the autor. But you can check something interesting here: http://www.dreamviews.com/f19/inception-flaws-105502/

First of all welcome to the site! Lucid dreaming can be as real as day, or even better, but also fuzzy at times. In your normal dreams, do you feel, smell, breathe or talk to dream characters? Actual dreaming is not quite like Inception, as it was a movie, but it's bringing many people to the world of lucid dreaming, and is a great movie. Just look around on the tutorials and keep a dream journal and experience one for yourself. I recommend doing both the DILD and MILD techniques at the same time for best results. Good luck!

Damn, I must try this today...
One of my wishes is to create my own world, or simply visit a fantasy world like Star Wars.

      And thanks to you both

ANYTHING is possible in a lucid dream. Welcome to DV! You're life just got better man. Lucid dreaming is very fun and anything is possible in one. Yes, DILD and MILD are great methods. They're also very easy to do. They take practice to work, but once you get it down, it's awesome. Look at my LD count.

Don't expect it to be easy or to achieve lucidity in the first night.
Lucid Dream is something that takes time, but for some fortunate people it happens in the first days or week. The key is dedication and awareness. Check Puffin's DILD Guide in the Attaining lucidity section.
