I only slept for around 5-6 hours last night and awoke remembering only one dream as opposed to last night when I had a couple. If I sleep more should I dream more? Is this not enough time to maybe get a lucid dream?

Well, for 8 hours of sleep, there are more REM periods than 5-6 hours of sleep, I believe, and you usually dream during the REM periods. You CAN get a lucid dream from 5-6 hours of sleep, but there is a higher chance of one, along with more dreams, in a longer period of sleep. Hope that helps.
