Need some help or Confidence :-/ please

Been following how to achieve lucid dreaming techniques for a week now and yet i feel so far away from achieving it. Yesterday I remembered almost 7 short dreams and this morning i cant remember any? I feel so distant from my dreams not even to mention doing reality checks in them. I know i have to train my brain in the awakening state to do reality checks but I stil feel so distant from my own dreams. I started doing meditation, doing my daily dream recalling, keeping my journal uptodate, doing rc during the day. STarted listening to Iso-tones. and actualy drinking apple juize before bed any advice that i may be missing? or should i just be patient? Probly gonna get alot of replies that wll tell me to be patient, seems im losing confidence in myself to accomplish lucid dreaming.

      Thanks
      Reinhardt

Dream recall can vary sometimes. It's not really about training yourself to do reality checks, but doing reality checks because you're training yourself to be more aware. If you're more aware in your dreams, from practicing in the real world, you might be able to remember more dreams and become lucid.

Apple juice is a good vividness booster, so keep drinking it.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

The past week ive remembered about 5 dreams a night but I never look at a digital clock in my dreams, never look at mirrors in my dreams, i dont see much of all the common reality checks people do in my dreams. . . and i have not yet discovered a pattern for my dream signs. Its always different stuff and places and events ect. . .

You don't need a dream sign to become lucid, you just need to be aware and question whether you're dreaming. It's best to do it spontaneously, randomly throughout the day. Lucidity comes and then you do an RC, usually. That way, you can summon a digital clock to test if you're dreaming, and then look at it again as another test.

Keep up the good work! For most people it takes patience. It's hard to start working on becoming lucid and instantly go to having lucid dreams all the time, every night. A lot of people on this site have been trying to have lucid dreams for months, or even years. Stick with what you've been doing. It's usually good to have at least two weeks worth of dreams recorded to be able to really see what your dream signs are.

Don't give up or get discouraged. Also, don't stress too much about the fact that you haven't been lucid yet. I've found stress really hinders lucid dreaming.
