Last Night was my first night trying to do induce a Lucid Dream. I tired a WILD at about 1am because i was not really tired till about that point, then i had an alarm wake me up at 4am to try a WBTB.

Before i went to bed initially for the WILD i started to become aware of all these feelings that are attached to falling asleep and getting in to these different stages of sleep. My only problem is that i would get so excited every time something would happen and ruin it.

At one point i go so far as i felt a bug walking on my arm for about 10 seconds. Once that happed all i could think was that sensation. After about 10 more seconds of this bug feeling, i could not help to grab for it and see if was a real bug. There was no bug, it was just a sensation! As i tried to fall asleep again, i started to feel those bug feelings later on on my legs. I was able to avoid touching those, but i would get so excited my heart would be racing. Then i assume i eventually feel asleep.

Before i feel asleep, i had my mantras of "I will know when i am dreaming" "Help me know when i am dreaming" "I will perform my reality checks". I never got to perform a reality check right before i feel asleep because i thought i would ruin was was going on.

Any Ideas, or anyone else have these bug sensations?

Continuing on to the WBTB,
I woke up and went to the bathroom and took a sip of V8 vegetable juice and hopped on to the the computer and checked DV so i could remember how to induce a WBTB. After i felt comfortable memorizing what i needed to do, i tried to go back to sleep after about 15 minutes. At this point as i am trying to remember, i cant really remember what i did as i tried to go to sleep again. I remember crawling in to bed and repeating my mantras over and over, but that is about it.

Near the end of my dreaming, i was dreaming of the old man from that 70's show giving me a ring which seemed to be a wedding ring of some sort. I placed that ring in some king of box to the left of me, which i think i was moving in the real world because i hit my wall...i think. When I hit the wall, i kinda woke up, but all i could think is that a CD or something of that nature fell off this box and on to the floor and i should pick it up. Then I kind of woke up.

Just yesterday i started doing my reality checks frequently during the day. I have change my desktop wallpaper to a dream sign that i would recognize. I have this sticky program that pops up every 15 that says "You are Dreaming, Take control." And i have also made a voice recording of my self that plays every 15 minutes when i play my video games that says the same as the sticky.

To me this is really all kind of strange. I would really appreciate any advice any of you have as i continue on to my next week. Thank you!
