Medication and trying to LD

Ive just started 3 days ago to train myself to become lucid in my dreams and yesterday i went to the doctor and he prescribes 3 antibiotics for my ear infection. Last night I struggled to go to sleep with "Binaural Beats" and when i finaly took of the headphones after 1hour I turned on my side and went into a deep sleep but have very little dream recall of last night. They say I have to use good quality stereo headphones for the "Binaural Beats" but im not used to sleep on my back cuz the headphones wont let me turn on my side. So i dont know if it was the medication or the "Binaural Beats" or just the damn headphones. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

I also can't sleep if I don't turn on sides.So I pesonally don't hear any binual beats while sleeping.But I use the "Brain Evolution System" during the day.It helps to have lucid dreams and has many great benefits. It's a high quality program and helped me.And by the way ,when going to sleep I meditate for 10 munites and repeat some mantras like"I WILL have lucid dream""I WILL remember my dreams"and then move to one side and go to zzz!!!Hope this helped you.

I have a really hard time sleeping on my back (unless I have some injury that requires me to), so I understand that. I don't think that it was the medication that was disrupting your recall. If anything, it was probably the stress of trying something new that was disrupting the way you sleep a bit. Often if something causes us to sleep differently than we normally do, it can disrupt our recall. Stress in general will kill recall, which is why it's important to just relax, and if something's preventing you from sleeping, try not to get too worked up over it. For example, when I've tried to WILD in the past, I can lay in bed for an hour or two before just giving up and letting myself fall asleep. You have the choice of trying again and seeing if it becomes easier to sleep, or try something new.

As Meraz said, it does help to develop the intention of "I will remember my dreams when I wake up" by reminding yourself a few times before going to bed. Another thing you can do is to read over a few of your past DJ entries, which I've found puts me in the mood of recalling my dreams.
