Greetings, Beenjammin, and welcome to DV
That's a common problem a lot of people are faced with, especially when they're starting out LDing. Congratulations on getting this far, though, and enjoy the progress you're making. If you keep practicing and remain diligent, you'll find yourself improving more and more. About how long do you remain lucid before waking up? I've found that it helps to place as much focus as possible on the dream world. Rub your hands together or along some surface in the dream. Focus on how it feels to be in the dream. Focus on the sights, the sounds, the smells, etc., and above all relax. I've had a number of experiences where I become lucid and then everything goes black. It's important to recognize what's going on, relax, and again try to focus on the dream world.
Don't forget to continually remind yourself that you're dreaming, though. You may find that you might start to wake up, relax, and go back into the dream only to lose lucidity and go on with the dream as normal. Again, though, just keep practicing. Everyone dreams differently and so you will progress differently than everyone else, but look for improvement and don't stress out if you're not as far as you'd like. Always enjoy your dreams! You'll figure things out in time.
Let us know if there's any other ways we can help. Also, if you don't find something you're looking for or need a hand with anything, feel free to ask anyone on the Dream Guide Team. We'd be happy to help.
Sweet lucid dreams! -Amé
