Thread: I has a balloon for a face

Uhh, new!

I've only had about one lucid dream I think.
It goes, I was at school, and when I'm dreaming of school everything is green. So I noticed it was a dream and I was in a conference room in the school and Tom Cruise was there and he was being all annoying. I stood up and said 'This is my dream and I don't want to be here!' so I left that room. I think that was all I had lucid. Nothing special really but I want to become a 'professional'? lucid dreamer, so I hope you guys can help me along the way.

I am starting a dream journel tonight and gonna try the hand through the wall dream sign and also I thought telling myself that I am about to go into a dream before I slip in sleep might help too.
Also I've done a bit of meditation before so I am going to do some self hypnosis on letting myself lucid dream.

A bit about me!:
I love music - Animal Collective, Mew, Late of the Pier, Foals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Washed Out, Phoenix, Passion Pit.. blah blah LOTS AND LOTS.

Is this forum purely dedicated to lucid dreaming and only lucid dreaming. I tend to babble alot as you can tell and I noticed there wasn't any 'General Discussion' threads.
Anywho, looking forward to sharing my dreams with you all.

That's awesome you had a lucid dream! A dream journal will really help with your recall.

And Animal Collective is amazing. I really love the album Feels the most. I got to see them a few years ago and it was epic. Welcome to the forum!

Hey, welcome! Nice lucid, Tom Cruise was in my lucid just yesterday. I made sure he knew I had nothing but disdain for him.

Although lucid dreaming is what the majority of the boards are dedicated to, there are a few others like, Entertainment, Extended Discussion, Science and Mathematics, Religion/Spirituality, the list goes on.

Balloon for a face? What happens when you get a zit? Doesn't that make the whole "pop it" thing a little life threatening?

I don't pop my zits I put special creams on them! And if a bird does happen to peck at my head and it pops, I have other balloons I attach the me and it takes a night or so for my head to fully restore. Then I can draw my face on depending on my mood.

I tried lucid dreaming last night. Didn't work! I didn't write my dream down but I will starting tonight. I don't want to write down all my dreams. Last nights was kinda innappropriate I guess you could say. I'm not writing it down.

I'm going to go and read how recall helps lucid dreaming now.
