A tad bit confused

so I may be new to the site but iv had a LD before. I just didn't know that's what they were called. I was surpised to find out that there's a whole community of people dedicated to it. I think it's pretty coool!! So anyways in my LD's I have tried asking for something or someone. And sometimes it won't come or something will appear telling me that they can't come. I know that sounds confusing. Can my dreams contol me in a LD instead of me controlling it? I know it's hard to understand what I'm saying.

:Welcome: Dream control can be hard. The number one rule, is to believe that it will happen. If you want someone to appear, try walking around a corner and saying "Bob will be around this corner." Or try calling for the person. Remember: Number one rule: Believe. Make it happen. If you think your dreams are controlling you instead of you controlling them, then you just need to work on dream control.

Often times it seems your mind will do everything it can to stop you from doing what you want. If a DC tells you that something can't/won't happen...don't believe them. Personally, when my DCs start "acting up" I use force. Next time try popping that guy in the mouth when he tells you something can't happen. If you want to find something/someone, its always easier to just look for it/them. Walk around some corners expecting to see them/it there. If it is a fairly smaller object, I like to reach into my pocket and feel around until I find it. If you are looking for a person, walk around calling out their name and search for them. It usually doesn't take too long to find what you are looking for (or something similar).
