Help keeping lucidity
Recently as I became more involved in LD's ive noticed I cant keep my lucidity for more than a few seconds, even though I havent had many LD's (maybe 6-7) I cant seem to keep my lucidity. I'll do a reality check and then just drift off into something else. Last night I remember seeing a plane crash so I did a reality check. I held my nose and breathed thru it and instantly knew i was in a dream. But just seconds after that I drifted off into another dream. How can I keep my lucidity?

I misread, lolz.
Try talking to yourself, out loud or in your mind. Talk yourself through what you were planning to do in your next lucid.
As long as you actively pull yourself away from the "flow" of the dream, it's alot easier to keep lucidity.

When I start having this problem I like to to start going around shouting,"This is a dream!" as loud as I can. It's pretty fun shouting in dreams. If you put a lot of energy behind it sometimes weird things happen to the environment too.
Doing that will keep you Lucid and after a few times you will just start staying Lucid easier.

You just need to stabilize :shadewink:
What I usually do is focus on an object such as a tree. Appreciate it's colors and shape and the leaves and everything. The dream should not only be stable at this point, but more vivid and realistic (just make sure you keep reminding yourself that you are dreaming).
Also, do not get over excited. Common newbie way to end a lucid :P
