Hi everyone, I'm completely new to lucid dreaming, or at least, the fact it could be purposely induced, as opposed to a rare occurence to some people. I found this website a few days ago after googling the reason for what causes that occasional feeling of falling when you wake up. - I didn't find the answer, but I'm really glad I found this website from it. Lucid dreaming has really interested me now.

Anyway, I've read some tutorials, and a load of other posts. Now my knowledge of it all is pretty basic and scattered. So, could anyone recommend any techniques or tips to me, a complete novice? It may be worth mentioning that at least twice a week, I'll wake up naturally at 4am, notice it, and not go back to sleep for a while. Could this be very useful for trying a WILD? If so, is it as scary as some people say it is?
