      Few binaural beats related questions

      Hey everyone,

Right now I'm downloading the i-doser dose "lucid". I-doser has never really worked for me, but I'm just hoping this one will.
If anyone ever tried, what exactly does it improve? Recall? Vividness? Or does it actually increase the chance of getting a LD?
What kind of LD would you name it? EILD?

I'm really excited to try it tonight

I've done that one before, and I must say that it didn't particularly work for me as far as going lucid... although it really did increase the vividness and recall of my dreams as I used it before my recall was really good. Although, I'm skeptical as to how much of it was psychological.

Good luck with it! Let us know how it goes.

Awesome! Yeah, I've certainly heard of it working wonders from some people, and others say there is no difference. Although, I think a lot of it is the mindset you bring when going into it.
"This is going to work, I have no doubts about it."

Kind of like when you're dreaming... when you expect something to appear/work/happen, it almost always does. Stay positive about it and I wish you the best of luck!

Haha, maybe I should actually try to "use" the placebo effect that it has. I think thats actually the only way that some people experience effects with other "doses"

I agree, actually. I first discovered I-doser many years ago... I tried the peyote one thinking it would work, and I actually hallucinated a little bit - I watched the posters in my room sort of melt into the wall. Some people were telling me that they thought it was only a placebo effect and it didn't work again...

I think they definitely do have the potential to work though!

haha ok, I just got a little euphoric trying some doses. My friends thought it was really stupid so thats kinda the reason why I stopped doing it

I just converted the dose to mp3 format so I can put it on my MP3 player.
Do you think it matters if I close my eyes (if not, whether I read something?)
I would easily fall asleep if I have to close my eyes and I thought that you had to stay awake throughout the dose, and then go to sleep.

I think it's important to focus on the beats and try to clear your mind... I don't think reading is such a good idea, and I'd definitely suggest closing your eyes and just trying to get as relaxed as possible, probably try some deep breathing as well.

Thx all for being so kind
but maybe you got my question wrong (maybe you thought I askes "what if I can't get to sleep)
But what I meant: Why happens if I fall asleep during the dose?

I suppose you might have a dream about Idoser. I've never tried listening to binaural beats while sleeping before.

From my DJ (Notes can't be published):

So I went to bed, turned on my MP3 player. After 10 minutes I was getting irritated by the noise etc. So I put it off.
I could absolutely not fall asleep within the next 2 hours.
Eventually I did fall asleep, but when I woke up, I didn't recall a single thing.
Maybe I was overexcited *wow, I might get a very intense and vivid LD, would be a great entry for my journal!*

Seriously, what's wrong with me :S

I eventually recalled 2 dreams from tonight
      Read all about it here!
