Sounds like WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). The hallucinations part, I guess that would be related to SP (Sleep Paralysis). |

Okay, I haven't tried to get into a lucid dream, but here's something I want to take advantage of... It's what I like to call the SIOE. (slip in and out experience) You know when you're just laying there, trying to get to sleep, but you start hearing voices and other things about every 7 seconds? That's what I'm talking about. Here are the two methods I recommend to get there... |

Method #2 is a Wake-Initiated-Lucid-Dream. #1 is a branch of WILD called a Visually-Induced-Lucid-Dream. |

This guy,, and this guy,
, are mine. BACK OFF!
They are both, as Snowy said, WILD techniques, but the first one sounds like a variation I've heard called the Tactile Assisted WILD. It basically works as you've described it, and while I've not successfully done a WILD, it works for me trying to immerse myself into a meditational visualization. I usually prefer spinning or running to flying, but that's just me. |

Can we make a new rule against user created acronyms to avoid confusion? |
