Hi.
I have always had vivid dreams, sometimes lucid dreams, all my life. I have always had a strong interest in my dreams, they tell me a lot about myself, and if I have a really interesting one I just cannot for the life of me let it go, I have to dissect it.
There are so many that I even vividly remember from childhood and I still remember the feeling of the places I saw, the atmosphere, the emotions I felt, some of which are entirely alien compared with anything I've experienced in waking life.
To me, dreaming is part of reality, it's part of life. Many people I speak to in real life just can't appreciate that, either because they don't dream much or because they think dreams are meaningless nonsense. I have annoyed quite a few people by talking about what I did in dreams in the same way I talk about, say for example, what I ate for lunch that day. They also think I think about it too much, but as long as I have a good life in this reality, what's wrong with having a good dream life too?
Hoping to meet some more like-minded people here.
Oh, I forgot to add, I am still much a student of lucid dreaming and have a very, very long way to go before achieving a more controlled lucid dreaming state.
