Thread: Dream Guide?

i heard somethin about a dream guide and i dont know what it is can somebody explain?

To put it simple, it's someone in your dreams who knows more about your dreams than you do. Sounds weird I know, but apparently this entity is able to guide you through your dream, teach you techniques, answer questions and actually give you information you don't know (which is kinda weird, because dreams are supposed to be happening in your brain, right?)
It might take you a couple of tries to find it, but remember you gotta believe you will find your DG one day.

Yup, pretty much that. Some believe they exist, some don't. I found mine through pure dumb luck. There are all sorts of different things people think about dream guides, though. Some think that the appearance and attitudes can be manipulated, whilst others believe that they are an entity that should not be screwed with. Personally, I take the stance that they are mostly detailed Dream Characters...basically, regular DC's with a bit more to them. (That's my DG in the sig, btw. Click the ).

My DG is a gym teacher in my school, she's kinda old and has short hair, looks like a man -.-.

If you don't like your dream guide, why not get a new one? As you would with any other unwanted aspect of a lucid dream. It's only, like, an imaginary friend.

Well, I've only seen my DG once, but next time I see it I'll change it's shape

So these guides can be anything??
Like is it someone who often appears in your dreams??

I've found that DG's tend to pick their own shapes. I found two. One that is more like a sage, who I don't see. She is the one who teaches me things, usually about ghosts and stuff, cos they scare me and she thinks they shouldn't

The other DG I do see, and he is usually there on adventures with me He's like my Tuxedo Kamen (yay, Sailor Moon reference!), hehehe!

Unfortunately, there isn't much I can tell you about finding them. They've both been appearing in my dreams (and LDs) long before I found these forums. They found me!
