Hello, My name is Vincent, I'm about 19 years old and I never had a lucid dream (to my recollection) before last night. I stumbled upon your website yesterday and, after reading posts for several hours (approximately three) I attempted a WILD. I was enamored with the concept of achieving a limpid state of mind whilst dreaming. I've always had excellent dream recall (without writing) so I figured I'd give it a shot. I attempted to reach the vague notion I conceived as "sleep paralysis" (which I found rather pleasurable as opposed to disturbing) just so when I attempted a WBTB later that night I would know what to expect. Later that night I achieved lucidity three times (Thanks for the light switch cue |

Why would I be afraid of my dream guide though? One of my theories was that this thing only appeared in the last dream and was fleeing because my lucidity was fleeing as well, it could have been a manifestation of my desire for clarity escaping. I'll have to do some research on dream guides, thanks for the hint |

Well, I've seen that chick three more times last night. Three different dreams. |
