Hello everyone!

My name is Kristin, I'm 20 years old, and I live in St Louis, Missouri. I am a Pre-Medical Biology Major studying to be a general Doctor first, but with hopes of pursuing a Ph.D in Genetics and someday owning my own clinic. I know I'd have good staff at least - My mothers and a few of my friends are LPNs, and I know my man would kick ass on the business side of things, lol.

I currently work both part time and prn as a CNA, meaning I could do anywhere from 24 to 50-something hours a week depending on the need. I enjoy being a CNA, but I am mostly doing it to pay for all the college I need to be a Doctor.

This being said, academia and medical studies tend to be about 40% of my life, and my studies have been a priority for most of my life.

Beyond that, my favorite hobby is SCUBA diving. My last trip to Honduras was my first taste of ocean diving and it was something that words could never prepare you for.

Most of my day left over from studies and work however, tend to consist of sewing, cross-stitching, reading, writing anything from poems to manuscripts, and - as of lately - being a health nut, lol.

I've been a little pudgy all my life. Never quite fat, but what most would call "Full figured." I've always been a little self conscious about it, so for the past month I've really done a lot to improve my health, adding yoga, some toning exercises, and some fun cardio (like running my dog through the park or swimming) and I do about two hours of health activities a day. So far I've dropped 15 lbs (I have 20 more to go for a bmi of 25 - my goal) and I feel amazing.

Oh, and the name. A Seidhkona is a practitioner of Norse forms of (for lack of a classier word) "Magic" called Seidh. I am Heathen by religion, and if you want to look it up, try Asatru as a key word, or you'll get a bunch of almost-emo crap. The function I provide to the heathen community is much like a native american Shaman, if you want an idea of what a Seidhkona is, and indeed many of us will call ourselves something like a Norse Shaman - I just dislike that term because it's kind of like a foreign idea being superimposed onto us, and as close as they are we just don't mesh right in philosophy.

As a seidhkona I work a lot with trance, meditation, and some dream techniques - just mostly dream interpretation. I did have a practice of aiming my dreams to go to a certain scene by meditation in the prone position, and then transitioning from my meditative state to a dream state - which from what I read here isn't much different at all from the WILD technique of lucid dreaming, so I expect I will progress pretty easily at this Lucid Dreaming stuff.

In Frith,
Lady Seidhkona

I'm pretty open and friendly, and I expect I'll be spending way too much time in the chat room, lol. Drop me a hi anytime.
