The way i understood it was that WBTB is just getting up, staying up for a bit then going back to bed. It is just somewhat of a "buffer" (bad choice of words) for the other techniques. WBTB is used in conjunction with DILD, WILD, etc, but it is not a lucid dreaming technique in itself although it helps quite a bit. I could be wrong though....

About the dream scape, there's a method where you create a sequence of events in your head then visualize them, then incorporate a reality check and after a few sequences you should be dreaming.

"For example, Pedro imagines himself in a room which is completely empty except for a door.. He manifests two of his best friends in his mind, and visualizes them being very excited.

They will say "Did you know this a reality check competition? Do a reality check now!", and of course Pedro will visualize himself reality checking, and realizing he is dreaming.

You then imagine yourself walking out the only door and repeat your visualization. " From tutorial.

Sorry if that dosent make sense/ repeats what you already know

Ps. Not suprised about the WILD, i always feel so dam groggy when i get up i just fall straight back asleep

Do you mean WILDing from a WBTB, or just doing a WBTB and then going to sleep to try to DILD? A WBTB is just waking up. The problems you're having would be in the specific techniques themselves.
