I don't mean you can't gain anything from your dreams, I'm just tired at people who think that there's a universal meaning for everything that happens in a dream. Even worse are the people who claim to know what everything in dreams mean, when really they just make it up. It's up to the individual to figure out what dreams mean, as everyone is different.

Well then maybe instead of saying the dream is without meaning you should say that you are "tired at people who think that there's a universal meaning for everything that happens in a dream."

If you said something is meaningless, IMO, you said is that it doesn't have the potential to indicate anything nor does it have any significance.
