      Beginning a 12 month experiment

      G'day folks,

New 'round here. Very serious about getting very good at lucid dreaming!

On Monday I'm beginning a year long experiment where I'll start out with 10 minutes of meditation per day, and add 10 more each week. I'll also be doing dream checks every 15 minutes. Full details are at my blog, link in signature.

In any case, look forward to sharing what effect the experiment has on my dream experiences and learning lots.

So at the end you have 10 minutes x 52 weeks/year = 520 minutes / (60 minutes/hour) = 26/3 hours = 8 2/3 hours every day. I think you might want to reconsider your goal, unless you're rich and can afford to stop working for half a year. Adding one minute per week is more realistic.

Haha, good question! A combination of 1) having no social life/obligations other than work, and 2) requiring less sleep as the meditation time increases.

      I think it's doable. Guess we'll see.
