Hello, my name is Michael I'm 22 years old and I just joined this site today. I was prompted to look up a forums/site like this after a very strange almost disturbing dream I had last night while in bed with my boyfriend.

Firstly, let me start off by saying that I consider myself to be a rather practical person in slight touch with my spirituality. Energy itself being my biggest belief in the Universe. My birthday is March 20th, making me a Piscese of the Zodiac... the more "dreamy" of all the signs. I think I've fit most Astrological personality arch-types that describe the Piscese sign.

That being said, whether is holds relevance to my dreaming experiences Im not sure..but it seems too coincidental. So, mainly Ill say that my whole life I've had extremely lucid and Visually defined dreams. Normally in my dreams I do become aware that I am dreaming, but still hold little control over what Im dreaming about. My dreams often venture into very differently situations and themes. yet Im nearly always able to recount many things in my dreams with very clear detail. such as... the following;

Colors
The textures of objects and how they feel at my touch
the linear progression of my dreams
Smells
Emotions of others in dreams
My own Emotions at the time
concious to the fact I am in fact that im dreaming
the ability to wake myself from dreams if i feel threatened
the ability to wake up from a dream aware it was a dream and then
purposely fall back into the dream and continue the dream where i left off.

I can say that I believe i do dream nearly every night and by the morning Im only able to grasp bits of detail.

But at least twice a week I'm able to recount the whole dream and the situation I was in and all of the details

Lastly, i'd like to say that I do not ever have dreams that come true or anything involving pre-cognition..I just have insanely detailed dreams that occure often.

So this is my introduction to these forums and my dreams. I was just looking for a forum to post about my dreams and found this Lucid dreaming website. So far ive only ready to home pages introduction but i had to post about my dream before I lost the details to time. I plan on trying to follow the steps of Lucid dreaming and post about more dreams i might have.
