I am fascinated by dreams and curious about lucid dreams. I have a question to any of the lucid dreamers, would you say that you are happier after learning how to lucid dream? |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
yeah, what cloud said. and not being able to freely talk about it is a downer... |
|
Well for me so far it has givin me soemthing to look forward to trying when I go to bed, but what cloud said is true, even though i've only been doing this for about a week and have only had one you don't really get to talk about it. But i have a friend that is trying to do it to so we talk about it. |

I am so very much happier. I have a great hobby that I enjoy, just like I do my other hobbies. I can do impossible fun things, which is a blast. Sleep has become even more exciting, and I make sure to get more sleep than I used to, which is also good. I have fun goals, and look forward to them. I have people on DV who I can talk about this hobby with, some of which I have become good friends with, and it has also greatly motivated me to read more research articles and work on my critical thinking and understanding of empirical research and how methodologies can be applied, since I now also collect articles on lucid dreaming and associated topics. |

I used to hate going to sleep because Waking life was more fun...or so I thought. |

I am a lot happier. It is great to know that no matter what, I can enjoy the most amazing experiences whenever I want. It takes a lot of the pressure and stress out of life. |

Lucid dreaming has made be much happier. It has become a way for me to get rid of certain disapointments. For example, if I have a moment of, "Darn, wish I could have done things differently" or things like that, I usually just fix it in a Lucid, and even though not real it makes me feel better. |

of course Lucid Dreaming makes me happy, why else would I try so hard to learn how? Shift gave good examples of why it's so fun. Lucid Dreaming is a blast, and sometimes it's fun when someone says something like "I wish I could fly! I wonder what it would be like" and, even though I can't tell anyone, I know what it feels like. And achieving your "lucid goals" is fun too. Man the first time I ever realized I was dreaming... it was like an adrenaline rush just knowing I was dreaming. |
