      The beginning

hello everyone, firstly i'll say a big thankyou to everyone here, its great to find so many people talking about something that i love so much!

I have been having dreams of varying lucidity for as long as i can remember. Like many posts i have read I had far more lucid dreams when i was younger, early teens etc, although today it is not as common. Having said that i have been concious ever since that my dreams are progressing, evolving and learning.. or atleast i am, in my dreams.
i tend to think of lucid dreaming as something that could be measured in more of a spectrum like way than in a yes/no sort of way, and always dream in a place somewhere inbetween. For example i almost never have "bad" dreams (the only exceptions being only 2 or 3 times in the last 10 years, in which i believe the dreams were affected by an entity in the room at the time, as absurd as that sounds)
Over the last 10 years I have learnt, very gradually, to fly with increased agility and controll, run - if needs be - on all fours (this seems to overcome the "running in water" problem, (and with much effort) teleport very occasionally .. amongst other things.
I find it truly fascinating that one remembers in dreams, and makes me wonder what my dreams will be like in 50 years!
anyway i'l leave it at that, but look forward to many interesting conversations and to hearing all the stories, methods and opinions of other members here, and thank you all for having me!

      Welcome to DreamViews, Turion.

This section can be extremely helpful.

It has some other ways to LD (there is more than just realizing you are dreaming in a dream) and some good ways to gain control.

Good luck, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

      Happy lucids.
