Thread: I can't seem to LD anymore :O

hmm...alright well i have been having 'dreams' for the past week and i always seem to rememeber them. i also do have a dream journal and i do use it to record my previous dreams. why can't i seem to LD? your help will most likely be necessary. TY what are some tricks to help me know i'm dreaming?

run rc scenarios over and over in your head before you go to sleep. almost try to make youself believe your in a ld. visualize itover and over. (cliche)

how is that, i have always remembered how i got to where i was.

You're probagly just trying to hard, take a week off, forget about it, then come back. You'll probably have one during your week off

Ya, I noticed putting too much effort into it can sometimes actually hinder it since it's almost as if you've built up a huge framework of knowledge on the subject and your brain is becoming "bored" with the subject. I'd take ninja's advice, but you could also try switching things up so subconsciously LDs, RCs, etc. come into your mind. I'm not sure what method you're using (I'm guessing DILD?) but you could also try switching up and doing new RCs, reading information on techniques and things you haven't done or didn't know before on LDs, and switching up your techniques.
