      Questions?

Since I have very vivid dreams and am able to recall them easily does that give me a jump on things to have an LD? Also what are some good books to read in order to help me fully understand everything?

Yes, some people have bad recall and they can't really try to have a lucid until it improves, which can take months. You are off to a good start. Steven LaBerge has a good lucid dreaming book. I read parts of it online somewhere. It might be called The World Of Lucid Dreaming. I can't remember.

      Welcome

The book's called "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". It's available online, but I'm not totally sure if it's legal.
The good recall will certainly help, you'll be able to discover dreamsigns more quickly and more easily.

You definitely have a head start, if you are remembering vivid dreams. As everyone has mentioned, Laberge's book should give you everything you need to know about lucid dreaming. Most of the same practical information is around this website, but it is good to know the background behind it all.
