Hello there.
I'm DingoBoy (Though I answer to Dingo as well), and I hope my travels into Lucid Dreaming will be as interesting as some of the tales I have already read.

I am a long time Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan, have written several "short stories" (as Yanks like to call it), and also acted as a Game-Master for a RolePlaying group for years. So I am pretty used to working my imagination.

Before stumbling upon the concept of Lucid Dreaming, I had never considered there was other ways short of Narcotics (Not that I'm to uptight to smoke a Blunt, but really..) to literally alter your reality. So I am already eagerly awaiting my first Lucid Dream. I have so many things to do.

I hope I'll be able to maintain an interest in this forum, though that should not be overly hard. It DOES seem more interesting than other forums I've been to (and even been banned from! - But that's another story).

If order to give my internet persona a bit more flavor - for, really, who cares about yet another faceless poster? - I'll describe myself in short terms for those interested (and for those not, as well. There runs my sadistic streak).

First and forth most, I am a Communist. I am a strictly Atheist, devoted Marxist-Leninist, and have been a Communist Party member for years. I am an Anti-Revisionists, and have little or nothing to do with appoligistic or Trotskjist stream of the Communist movement. Though I an not a fan of the sadly religious view of Communist thinking some movements seem to have adopted. In extension of this, I am also culturally liberal. I refuse to take part in demonization of innocents based on their sexuality or belief. No matter what the hell people are into, I try and judge them from their actions.

I am also a bit of a bookworm. Aside from the obvious (Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Hoxha), I rather enjoy Stephen King, and other writers such as Lovecraft, Poe, and Shakespear. Literary art is one of my primary sources of enjoyment.

Currently I am working on being a better C programmer (C++ mastery yet to come), and learning Arabic. Both are purely for my own enjoyment - I am not a professional programmer, and have little or no reason to learn Arabic. Apart from "I want to".

So, I hope you're still alive from having read all that crap, and interested in including me into your virtual fellowship.

Salaam, (and whatnot)
DingoBoy.
