      Lucid dreaming,,,veryyNewbie

Hey Im Barbara im very new with lucid dreaming,,

      i always forget my dreams,

i just have 2 that happened to me when i was about 10 and after since i have never been able to anymore,,,,at least i think they were lucid dreams
i remember the 2 of them were dreams in my house,, i dreamed that when i was lieing in my bed a statue that in real life broke its head was walking up the stairs..
and another time i also dreamt that behind my coniferious trees in the garden i saw a very scary face.... those 2 dreams have been so scary to me as about the age of a 10 year old that i still remember them now,,,is it possible that those dreams have stopped for me to control my lucid dreaming??
because ever since i havent ,,i didnt even know that was a lucid dream it seemed like reality,,,,

when i dream now i can think when im dreaming but i dont see pictures i just see black.
do you actuallysee the same way you see in real life when you lucid dream?
because i can be awake wile dreaming and realise i am but i dont see nothing only black .

what can i do to make my dreams way more realistic?and see things like in real life again??

please help me i really want to lucid dream well and deal with those 2 bad dreams ,,

Hey, and welcome to Lucid Dreaming!

If you are having troubles with your nightmares, i'd suggest looking over this tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=5309. I highly doubt that this could be effecting your Lucid Dreaming attempts THAT much, but you never know.

And you said something about you know when your dreaming, but all you see is black. Here, you are more than likely not dreaming. Your brain produces images while you are sleeping. These look like "real life" and sometimes can even seem MORE clearer then in real life. So like I said, if you are dreaming and you know your dreaming then you will have some kind of imagery or sensation.

Thanks for Answering, and taking my questions serious.
Its weird because i dream and i can even recall what i dream exactly ( since very recently )but i dont really see clear images its more like storys and very vague pictures that i try to see clear and then turn completely black ..not even close to being like real life,,, i am obviously NOT a natural and will be needing alot! of practice..

Thanks for the tutorial on nightmares greetings Barbara
