      Another cliche introduction

I don't expect anyone to actually read this, but all the same I feel I should write an intro, seeing as you people have an entire section for this kind of thing.

Anyway- I've been having LDs for as long as I can remember, maybe twice a month or so. Recently I've learned that with practice I can have more, better lucid dreams, and seeing as how I'm not doing anything else of value while I'm sleeping (and I sleep a LOT...), I might as well learn how.

It seems like practice is much more significant a factor in determining success than studying lucid dreaming, so I'm really just here to keep LDing in my thoughts and to interact with the people of one of the last peaceful corners of the internet.

      Here's a cliche staff response:

to DV, don't forget to check out the tutorial section.

      Here's a more tailored response:

Yes, we read the introductory posts because we like to get to know new members. Seems like you have some experience, by sticking around DV and gathering knowledge from our vast database of it here I'm sure that you can get to once or twice a week. I started out slowly too.

Practice is very crucial for lucid dreaming, especially some of the more advanced techniques. Eventually you should be able to lucid dream almost at will.

Welcome!!! 2 LDs/month on your own is pretty awesome Yea, practice helps, and luckily you are getting those two per month so you'll be able to practice. Studying lucid dreaming and understanding some of the science, theory, and experiences of other members can really help too, though. Of course the best is to study and practice at the same time Let me know if you have any questions regarding the study of lucid dreaming! And good luck with the practice!!
