I'm looking into a good book. I know Laberge is the leading authority on LD, but I really like the "30 day" format of This book... |

I hate to pimp Laberge but get his book and if you want more then perhaps look at getting this one later. With LDing people develop at wildly diffrent rates so im not sure how approprate a 30day guide would be also some of those reviews look rather suspect. |

I bought the 30 days to lucid dreaming book. and was unable to stick with it. The format actually stinks. you need to read the book for each day like in the morning, cuz there is so much preparation you have to do before the night. Be prepared to set up you bedroom in different themes so that your dreams can be affected. Not sure if this really works.. Never had the time to go to the store everyday to get new things to decorate with. (once again you need to read ahead. but several places in the book tell you not to read the next day.) |

I just bought this book on Monday, read it in a few hours, and it is not good. Very complicated techniques for the average person to follow. They are very involved and not practical. It was a waste of money. |

Yup, fully agreed. I ended up getting both this and Laberge (hey, I work for amazon.com, I get discounts! Plus they were cheap anyway), and the 30 days book is crap, while Laberge is actually well-written and a good read... |
|
Same here! Do not buy the book. Go for anything else just not this book. |

I avoid "<Subject> in 30 days" books. Like that damn "Get rich in 30 days" book. That nice nigerian man who wanted to deposit lots of money into my father's account never did reply...and the accounts money mysteriously disappeared... |

People learn different things at different paces. People also learn differently then others, so you can't guranntee someone to learn something (in this case lucid dreaming) in 30 days... I agree with everyone else: EWLD was a great buy. |

i used this book when first learned to ld. it is very complicated if you read the book through and then try to take it all in. it is a bit tedious but take it one day at a time and guess what, it works great. about halfway through the steps i had my first ld and the more you get into the steps the more often they occur. the only problem i had as others have mentioned is it is pretty complicated and hard to stick with it all the way through. but there are some great excersises to practice thaty will significantly increase your awarness of your dreams. |
